Yet another question I'm sure Laurel is sick of

To start off, yes I've been patient on waiting for my story to be posted... I realize how backed up things have been! I was just wondering, if my story wasn't accepted would I hear about it or would it just vanish forever? I mean, do I get some kind of "letter of rejection", or do I just wait forever (without seeing it)? Thanks.

Approximately one year ago, I had submitted my 1st story to Literotica. After not seeing it posted for over 2 weeks, I got nervous and asked Laurel the same question. As with you, she explained it well to me. I was new to this, at the time, and had a poor impression that it would take about a day or two for a story to be posted (as with most sites). However, as I had noticed, Laurel and Manu carefully examine and proofread the stories before posting them. I noticed this because I saw a couple of errors that were in my 1st story but those errors were corrected on Literotica.com.

Hint - my stories are always on disketts. When I send one in I put the date on it I sent it in. Then the date I receive the confirmation from Laurel on it.

I got all antsy on one story I'd sent in till I went back and checked the date. I'd just sent it in a short time before!

As Laurel says there is a big backlog right now. My last posted story took a little over 6 weeks.

She does NOT play favorites! And she LIKES me! Or so she says! She even sent me a picture of herself today, and no you can't see it!

SIMPLY FOR THE RECORD!!!

I am a, somewhat, patient person and don't mind the wait. However, there are a few websites that may post stories within days. For that reason, I often submit my stories to Literotica, as well as a couple of other websites. That way, the story is posted online for all to see in the other site while modifications are done prior to the posting on Literotica. Despite the short length of time that it takes for the other website (EroticStories.com) to post a story, ALL of my stories are listed in Literotica. That is because Literotica often keeps the stories online longer than others.

Wait a minute, you mean after a while the stories disappear? Is this true? I thoguht they stayed on here. What is the estimated time for an erotic story?
