Well, I tried WalMart, K-Mart and Ames searching for magic! So far no luck. Anyone have any suggestions of stores or sites (other than drugstore.com) that sell Magic?? Especially the cream type (not the mix your own)

And other areas in the stores that it might be in (I checked the shaving aisle)

Help!

Try black men hair products section. WalMart does carry it. Usually you will find it on the bottom shelf though, in an out of the way place. Won't be at eye level in prime retail position!

When I recently were in the States, I had promised a fellow european member of the BB to try and find it over there. I finally had the luck to find it in a CSV store, after having been looking for it several other places. It was only one of several CSV stores I visited before I found it.

Also Wegmans, if you live near one.

Warning, if you wear glasses, wear them while using. Trust me.

I tried that section too. I just think my walmart is behind the time (plus the majority of people in this town are white).

Think Rite-Aid might have it?

You don't know about Magic?

I'm suprised, I heard about it on the Lit board.

It's a hair removal product for black men. Since it's meant for curly hair, it's great for the removal of pubic hair. With no razor bumps!:p

Well contrary to what it says I have not actually been hanging out on the main bb very long -- two weeks maybe -- and I guess I missed it. But is it safe for the pubic region?

Wegmans does have it, as does Tops if you have one of those as well.

Eckerd, Rite-Aid, CVS and Walgreens all carry it.

I found it in my local Walmart in Toronto.
Its in the hair care section for Black Men.
Its a cream, but the direction on the label are kinda vague on its use. I do I apply it and use it?

It feels like you've been here a long time Diana! As far as I know it's safe. A lot of people on the board use it. But I haven't used it myself yet (mostly because I can't find it).

I haven't heard anything bad about it at all!

When I finally found it at walmart I took it home and decided to do a patch test first. Well nothing happened with it, so then I decided just to go on and use it. You must make sure you put enough on the hair try not to get it in the 'lip' area burns like hell.

You leave it on for 6-9 minutes, it smells like a perm and can make your eyes water. Then you just gently scrap it off with something, and the hair comes right off. Really nice actually, I plan on using it when I don't feel like shaving once in awhile. I shaved after I used it too to get in those areas I didn't trust to use it in.

Just been on an incredibly wild posting streak -- all over the board -- probably why you think I've been here forever - LOL.
It sounds interesting but I guess trying it is out of the question. My husband is very very --- can we say VERY --straitlaced and he would question where I even got the IDEA of shaving my pubic area.

Sorry to hear that Diana! I haven't gone bare yet, but I've hear it's a great feeling.

I hear the same thing -- but sometimes one must do what one must do the keep up the status quo

well, there is something to be said for licking a bald beaver!!!!!

Not that I've ever let hair become a problem, but not having to worry about stopping to pull a hair out of your mouth every so often is a good thing for us both, I would think.

It's not an all the time thing around my house but wife has surprised me with it on a couple of special occasions. Nice change!!!

I have a question...

Do you really use the spatula like the container recommends. It' didn't work all that great for me.

Yesterday I shaved, and my plan now is to try to apply everyday, and see if it works best if used consistently.

Any advice here?

Yes, use a rubber spatula. Mostly to remove most of the lotion. I use a washcloth in the shower immediately after to rub off the rest of the hair and that works fine.

Also, have no problem with it burning close to lips- I actually use it to remove all hair from my pussy, including the hair right at the edge of my lips and clit.

LOL. I think that qualifies as advertising for your employer.

i use a plastic spoon to mix and then to smear on... let set until mostly dry then i use 'shower scrubby' to wash off under running water (shower)... never had a prob... i use the silver can (has conditioners) leaves my legs silky soft n smooth

I bought mine at Albertson in the men shaving products area. I also use a plastic spatula, and have no problem near the lips area, but burns like hell, if you have a lil scratch.

You don't have to tell him that you started out with the intention of going bald. Tell him you started out trying to even up your bikini line, and couldn't get it even or got carried away.

Better yet, get him to help and keep saying, "no, that's not even, take a little more off the other side." You'll be bald in no time, and then can switch to Magic because, "I like the way it feels."
