It's not just you.

Well, some of you... but not just you.

We need to beat into submission.

Ah, so I can scratch this off my list of Things to Take Personally. Whew!

Can't I just be apathetic and find something else to do?

You could, but what are the odds of it actually happening?

I agree! It's getting extremely damned fustrating! A few posts go through right, you think it's fixed and then it screws up again. %@&#@%

Thank you I feel better now.

AARRRGGGGHHH! And there it goes again. So much for feeling better. Can't even rant about the srew up without it screwing up.

Well, it's an easy day. I'm watching Modern Marvels - lava lamps and slot cars...

Writing my October contest story...

Reading "Going Postal"

Contemplating lunch. Tequila lime wings are sounding good.

Discovery Channel?

History Channel for that one. But I have a ton of stuff from a bunch of different channels. Globe Trekker, Modern Marvels, Dirty Jobs, Lost Worlds, Cities of the Underworld, Bizarre Foods.

It'll take me a bit of time today to get through all this.

DVR, eh? Or Tivo, same thing.

Yup, I love this TV. It records two channels at once.

Helps feed my documentary addiction.

Definitely tequila wings and sour cream for lunch.

LOL, so I can tell him I am not the only person who likes to watch these programmes?!!! He gives me so many filthy looks and shit if I even suggest most of them I have learned to leave them until he is in a really good mood or not here.

Hah!

No, ma'am, you are not the only one. My brain must be fed or she might start making up games to divert herself. Sometimes this explains my writing. This also explains my behavior on Lit during work hours.

My husband fortunately shares my interest in most of this stuff and will watch himself. We also luckily have two TIVO's, so if you don't like what's playing here, go somewhere else.

I have the TV attached to the Wii - hours where the kids are at school and nobody's shooting something is at a premium. Everyone here's addicted to Zelda at the moment. When husband wakes up, he'll probably fire up Resident Evil.

Yep, I relate to the brain feeding thing. If I choose the right programme, he will often watch it and enjoy it, getting him to admit it is another thing...lol, and then of course if I watch something like Globe T and they say something that is not right about Spain or such he then gets on a rant. He does spend a lot of his life on Wow though, so if he is wrapped up in that he barely notices if I flick onto something he classes boring. :D

I'm in a position where I get to do both, so I'm watching crowd control techniques and playing on Everquest 2.

Husband and I both played WoW since beta - loved the expansion, but his account got keylogged and he lost everything. By the time the admins got all his stuff restored, we were immersed in another game.

I can often be found reading a book (or Lit) while listening to the TV and crafting (or killing) something. If I don't get to entirely overload on multitasking, I feel underutilized.

I rant too. I'm more likely to be found throwing something at the TV. (Usually a small pillow. I'm passionate, but I'm not crazy enough to risk the electronics.)

Must be a conspiracy... first Time-Warner cable decides to do "maintenance" in my neighborhood, and then there's maintenance here. GRRR!!!

I always suspected something like this. This explains why all of the brilliant things I type up never look so brilliant when I read them after they've posted.
It's all Manu's fault.
I'm changing my org chart and demoting him!

What about those of us who are already in submission?

Can we still queue up for a beating....please, please, please??

Oh, and can it be by the person of our choice, or is it a random pick?

Grrr... I had a typo.

It was supposed to read: We need to beat it (meaning Lit) into submission.
