As I recall she got burnt along with her two 'lovers'. He ended up spending time in a Gay bar. Then invested with 5-6 of them to refurbish the place so they had a 'Safe' place to hang out.

You (and I) may be conflating two stories. The one that seems closest is The Story of Cadence and I by Cagivagurl, and it includes the two guys getting burned, with the detail that they're gay/bi. However, she doesn't get burned; maybe a little singed, but they reconcile.

I have about 2500 in favorites. I created an ACCESS database with my own synopsis for each. Makes it a LITTLE easier to find. lol
