Also known as it sucks being poor, but it's great having people owe you.

Today I received a phone call from a person I helped last year. I had contacted her in hopes she could put me in touch with someone who could help me. I needed supplies, lots of supplies. Wood, more wood, Tar Paper and shingles. Nails. You name it. Today she called me and informed me that she had indeed found me the help I needed. She had talked to her boss and explained what I was doing and why. He turned around and is delivering the supplies I needed tomorrow morning at O Dark Hundred.

Why do I need supplies? You remember the young lady I am enamored with and how her place was damaged? Tomorrow I am replacing her roof. (Okay not just me, a bunch of us are doing it.) Tomorrow she is liable to be the only person with a mobile home with a real roof. Everything we will need is being delivered and the work will be done. (I just got off the phone with one of her brothers. He will be showing up with her other brothers as well as the rest of the family and assorted friends. My wife and I will be the only Anglos there, it should be fun.) She has no idea this is going to happen. All she knows is she is going to work tomorrow morning. It will be done by the time she gets home.

On another note my wife was asking me tonight what we're going to get her and her kids for Christmas. I have absolutely no idea but we will think of something. (We're cutting back on gifts to each other so we can get them something.) For her I have an idea, I just have to find it. A Belly Button Ring with the flower she is named after on it. (In gold of course.)

Tomorrow will be fun. I'm looking forward to it.
