YEEEEEHAAAAAAA..!

Hey Patryn, Dudley, Hullo Nurse, etc. - all of you who live in the MID-WEST. TELL Tiggs where the mid-west IS!!! :D

Nebraska is the home of the Heartland. I KNOW where the Midwest is. I've been in it for 23 years so far.

Re: Hmmm...

"I'd say Ne., Ks., Ia., SD., and Mo. would be the Midwest."
I'd call those the Plain States. Except MO. I'd also add OK.

"No, no, no. WI, MI, IL, MN, IA would be mid-west."
Gotta add IN to that list I think.

Of course, how could I forget Indiana?

Somehow I doubt debating regions of the U.S. is going to get us that far. We all have our opinions, and that won't change no matter what anyone else says. Besides, I don't think we're doing Outsider any good but blowing up his thread with a ton of posts.

Ah, but that's why I already started a new thread on the topic. Take a look, it is meant to be fun, not an argument.

your not from roud here are you ..damn city folk's.

I want to see banjo pickin red neck's ( stamp's foot like a petulant child ), just so long as they don't think I have a "reel perty mouth boy" or ask me to squeel little piggy.

That would be Georgia. The land of the Red Clay.

Banjo pickin' rednecks, huh? You might try the northern part of Arkansas. I've heard that there are touristy, arty-crafty places up there. Never been there myself, though.

"you sure are perty for a boy, you is aboy ain't ya.

Isn't that where Clinton comes from..?

I love Cape Cod. I spent a week there this summer with friends and loved it. We stayed in Hyannis and spent a day on Martha's Vineyard. If I had the money to live there it would be bye-bye Atlanta in a heart beat.

Weird Harold: "The Oregon Coast is an interesting area to visit, or at least it was when I was a child. <G>"
Yes, yes.. the next verse please!

Home, home Oregon.
Your father's all said 'Union.'
That's the union of Scotland,
And a little of Ireland,
Oh, an a bit of German, and, er, Chinaian.

Remember to always wear safety goggle's.

Isn't Cape Cod fearsomly expensive, and I might bump in to Norm Abrams and his evil plot to take over the world with woodwork.

No fears, mate. Norm live 3000 miles from the Oregon coast, ( it's on the left side of the map, Cape Cod is on the right side.)

Never, My parents grew up in what is now Lincoln City, a few mile from Depot Bay. I grew up in Oakridge. Since I graduated in 1968 and joined the USAF shortly thereafter, I haven't been back too often.

I still miss the green though. I don't think there is anywhere in the world that can match the green-ness of the Pacific Northwest.

Cape Cod is both expensive and very crowded in high season. Thats why I would suggest visiting in the spring or fall.

"New yanky workshop" new world order I say.

3000 miles from Norm sound's good to me, don't you think he is trying to take over the world with his secret army of "this old house" soldiers.
