No, I do not think that Mr.HWMNBN will get back to NPR, with a full explanation about why there is a Star of David on an attack ad against Hillary Clinton.

That might upset Christians have a great deal of interest in Israel.

"...his first response since his official account tweeted — then deleted — the image Saturday. It later posted a new version with a circle in place of the star."

"It remains unclear where the campaign found the image. It previously appeared on a message board filled with anti-Semitic and white supremacist messages as well as the Twitter feed of a self-identified comedian who tweeted out provocative and offensive messages"

Trump Goes Back To Defense After 'Star Of David' Tweet

July 4, 2016

NPR's Ari Shapiro talks with political reporter Sarah McCammon about a Donald Trump tweet that contained white supremacist imagery, and the backlash it received.

It has caught Boston Universty's attention. Back in May, some young people decided the campus was the place to recruit new members, for their little hate group.

Racist, pro-Nazi messages posted on Boston University campus ...

Trump’s team said Microsoft Word’s featuring of the same six-pointed star under its “Shapes” menu is proof that his use of it couldn’t be anti-Semitic.

Dan Scavino, Trump’s social media director, also pointed to Microsoft on Tuesday.

Scavino didn’t create the image. He admits he “lifted [the picture] from an anti-Hillary Twitter user.” And, as the Daily Beast notes, that user has a long history of tweeting racist imagery, including swastikas — a symbol synonymous with Nazi Germany.

Trump's social media director, Dan Scavino Jr., picked up the theme, tweeting: "For the MSM to suggest that I am antisemite is AWFUL. I proudly celebrate holidays w/ my wife's amazing Jewish family for the past 16 years."

Mic discovered Sunday that Donald Trump's Twitter account wasn't the first place the meme appeared. The image was previously featured on 8chan's /pol/ — an Internet message board for the alt-right, a digital movement of neo-Nazis, anti-Semites and white supremacists newly emboldened by the success of Trump's rhetoric — as early as June 22, over a week before Trump's team tweeted it.

Headlined “An Open Letter to Jared Kushner (son in law to Trump) "From One of Your Jewish Employees,” the lengthy letter took aim at Kushner for his silence over a controversial Star of David tweet that caused an uproar Saturday.

But then her “worst fears” were realized when she began to get attacked on Twitter by Trump’s supporters, she said in the letter.

Schwartz embedded a slideshow of the worst of the tweets in her online post and asked Kushner to read them.

http://www.nydailynews.com/news/pol...er-anti-semitic-trump-tweet-article-1.2700252

Kushner responded to a New York Daily Observer open letter published Tuesday that called him out for allowing his father-in-law to tweet an image of Hillary Clinton superimposed on $100 bills and next to a six-pointed star — a shape the Star of David uses. Kushner owns the Observer.

“I know that Donald does not at all subscribe to any racist or anti-Semitic thinking,” Kushner said in a statement. “. ("I have personally seen him embrace people of all racial and religious backgrounds.") The suggestion that he may be intolerant is not reflective of the Donald Trump I know.”

Donald Trump's daughter, Ivanka, married an Orthodox Jew, converted and has 3 kids, all Jewish. This makes his atrocious, antisemitic meme from this Saturday even worse. Three days later, not a word from either Jared Kushner (the son in law) or his daughter publicly condemning the tiny fingered, Cheeto-faced, ferret wearing shitgibbon's words.

I don't think the Trump campaign was trying to slip in an antisemetic message by using that shape and that this is just a false, nitpicking issue when there's always something meatier to go after Trump on when he opens his mouth.

I think the star thing is being blown out of proportion. A Star of David is two interlocking triangles, the star in question was a generic six pointed star. That Drumpf retweeted it from another twit shows his level of originality, which is very low, but to say that he meant it to be a Jewish slam is just silly.

The controversy shows that the LSM is not addressing his avoiding the pressing issues but running a shit shower of a campaign, like most Rethuglicans do.

Of course Hillary is not addressing the issues much either. She seems to be running on, "I'm not as bad as Drumpf!" Liz and Bernie seem to be the only ones discussing real important issues.

"If my father in law’s fast-moving team was careless in choosing an image to retweet, well part of the reason it’s so shocking is that it’s the actual candidate communicating with the American public rather than the armies of handlers who poll-test ordinary candidates’ every move."

Jared Kushner owns the newspaper, The Observer.

That may well be the most spectacularly self-negating sentence published this year. Did the “fast-moving team” chose the image? Or was it the “actual candidate?” The man needs an editor. Did Kurson read this before it went out?

Courting Nazi sympathizers and stomping on the American flag are equivalent acts ?

I would say that they are not equal. There are many reasons, for many people, to abuse the American flag.

Why would any sane, modern person flirt with Nazi sympathizers ?

What is repulsive, is that this does not matter to Mr. HWMNBN's supporters.
More supporters, more votes, more contributions.
Win, at all costs.

What Kushner wants us to believe is that Donald Trump is not an anti-Semite. If that’s true, it only confirms deepening suspicions that he is something far worse: An amoral, megalomaniacal nihilist allying himself with the most virulent and hateful factions of the American right, toying with their resentment and fear, making promises he will never be able to keep.

Or he’s a secret neo-Nazi. Take your pick.

I think you give The Donald too much credit for "intentional." I think he's just sloppy and a bit stupid. If you asked him what he thought about the Holocaust, I think you'd get the answer, "I've never met him."

The Star was placed over a graphic of money. If that isn't a traditional slap at Jews, used quite regularly on white supremacist and other such web sites/propaganda, then the next time it's used people can't complain.

I'm not even sure Trump knows the difference between Mekka and Medina ^^ I press all my thumbs that the next US president knows that that Catholic Church is in Rome, and not in Ramandan... :D

Mr.HWWNBN continues to defend using the Star of David, to smear Hillary Clinton.

Did someone photoshop the Star of David onto a Disney book for children, in order to help Mr. HWWNBN defend the indefensible. ?

Trump also declared the issue completely over in a radio interview (“It’s a star!”) and in a tweet where Disney’s graphics department also used a six-pointed star graphic.

Even the Frozen reference was taken from a Twitter user who’s part of the alt-right movement.

There was a GB denizen that used Sybil as an insult.
Sybil was listed at having 16 personalities.

When Mr. HWMNBN speaks, all 16 groups that support him, seem to hear what they want to hear, from him.

How is it,that the Evangelical Christians hear that HWMNBN will protect Israel, while the Nazi supporters hear that HWMNBN will rid the United States of influence from Israel ?

"...this tweet is the kind of thing that works in the context of an online culture war, where every argument will be dragged on forever, and the more informal parts of Twitter, where riffs on current events can briefly surface before being submerged in a stream of consciousness."

But for Trump’s campaign, this is so ludicrously petty that it deserves special attention, even in an already absurd election season. This tweet needs to be preserved forever in memory of the time that a presidential candidate deflected accusations of bigotry not by doing anything that might peel off his devoted racist fanbase, but by hiding behind a children’s book.

It all started with a photoshopped a picture, consisting of Hillary Clinton, a big pile of money, the Star of David, and a hateful slogan. HWMNBN tweeted it, or someone on his team tweeted it.

Ooooo!Controversy!
It was a deliberate pushing of a sensitive button.
Now, Mr. HWMNBN will be in the news cycle for awhile.
No money spent, and plenty of publicity.

It did not cost HWMNBN anything.
But, he took it out of someone else's hide.
He covers it up with sly non- denials.
Communities across the USA paid.
Someone will.pay, just like the homeless Mexican man paid with suffering, pain, and his blood on a public thorough fare.
Two drunken louts heard HWMNBN speak, and they took it upon themselves to punish a Mexican man with physical violence.

At one of HWMNBN's latest rallies, a supporter was heard, shouting a slogan.
"Hang the Bitch."
HWMNBN had just finished listing his slurs against Hillray Clinton.

Let us discuss how he is a feminist, and loves women....

FBI Director's Furious Response Over Allegations He Colluded With Clinton Campaign

Republicans in the House did not get the result the wanted, so they stage a hasty show trial for the investigator. Comey, a Republican who contributed to both the McCain and Romney campaigns, is having none of it.

By the way, Comey was confirmed by the Senate as FBI director in a near-unanimous vote. Rand Paul (yeah) was the only Senator to vote no. They voted for him because of his integrity, and now that they want him to have NO integrity, he is disappointing them? Tough.
