YAUWI: wifely "duties"...

Yet Another UnknownWanderer Idea:

I'd love to read something about a wife who, whether she is interested in it or not, feels compelled to do her "wifely duties" and regularly pleasure her husband, and put significant effort into doing it...To make the idea even more controversial if desired (heh)...it could be religiously related...or it could just be her upbringing (man brings home the bacon, woman tends house and man)....effectively, some sort of "brainwashing" along these lines.


And if anyone wants some additional thoughts for this idea to make the story more "complex", "deep", or "fair", just ask, as I've got some as well.

I like this idea. (There's a shock, eh?)

I see this as a young lady in the 1950s (or, I suppose, "old fashioned values" could have been passed down the generations to present day) who "went to finishing school until marriage" since college for a girl would seem unnecessary to this family and their values - the girl merely needs "a place to stay" until a husband claims her.

So, she's a virgin, a bit naive, and on her wedding night her mother sets her down to have "the talk". She's telling her that she is now a wife and must submit to and give herself fully to her husband. The conversation could even get graphic and shock the young woman to hear her mother say such things!
