Yahoo Photo Sharing?

I was hoping someone could help with a problem i have found in using the photo sharing option on yahoo messenger. I have used it in the past with no problems but when trying to use it as of late, most of the time the photos will not upload on either end of the conversation. They appear blurry, like they are trying to upload but they never do. I've tried smaller files and even downloaded the newer version of messenger and it hasn't solved the problem. I was hoping someone might know what the problem is or have an idea to why this is happening all of a sudden?

Have you already googled the problem and read the troubleshooting info?

It could be a bad connection as well. I don't use yahoo particularly, but it's common for web browsers to bring up a picture blurry, and clear it up as it loads. Maybe it's similar?

I did google it, found its not an uncommon problem. Lots of suggestions of what might fix it but nothing concrete. I checked my firewall settings, made sure Yahoo was listed as an exception, some suggested turning off your anti-virus, and making sure things like java were updated, all of which I've now done.

I noticed that I have this problem more often when I or the other person tries to send a bunch of pics at once and if you select the pics individually and wait a little bit, the problem seems to occur less. That might just be a connection issue like other people said, but I also think it might be because my computer is a little older and doesn't run as well as other people's computers.

Yah its odd because I've been looking into it and it seems to be a common problem but I have yet to find the solution, just lots of suggestions as to possible solutions. Clearly people have notified Yahoo of this and have not received any clear help.

I've had the same problem. Especially when sharing a bunch of pics at the same time, seems to go much better only adding one pic at a time. Which I guess makes for a longer chat and more anticipation, maybe it's not a bad thing!

I've had times where none of the pics were coming through clean and was just plain frustrating though!
