So sweet of you to ask. No, I did not get the call. Which means that I left the wedding early, took my daughter to her dad's, packed a bag and went to bed early for NO reason. Not that I'm bitter or anything.

Well, look at the bright side of it. You got a full night of uninterrupted sleep when you weren't expecting it. The kids weren't there, so you could even sleep in if you wanted. There's got to be some good it that.

I know. But here's the thing. I love having my kids around all the time. I'm lost when they're not here. One of them usually ends up in my bed every night and I like it. It was a lonely night. Blah blah blah. Whining over.
