I guess specifically what I was referring to was some of the dom/sub and fantasy pieces. Though neither are typically “my bag” I find your depictions wildly interesting and well presented.

MonikaE has a recognisable style and a thematic coherence. You've used a Photoshop filter. There's a considerable difference between these two approaches - one could call MonikaE a digital artist, you're someone who can select a filter, but that's all.

You have some misconceptions. for one, I like Erika's art
fro the second: I use a digital painting program as most illustrators do these days. There are NO filters involved amd everything is done by hand with a pen and tablet.

Are you serious that that manipulation is your own? I hate to say this, but when a viewer immediately thinks Photoshop filter (and my copy of Photoshop must be at least ten years old), then a major part of your artistic intent is getting lost in there somewhere. It's completely lost on me, I'm afraid - true, I've only seen one image, not a whole body of work, but even so, I'm not seeing any personal expression. Sorry about that, but I'm not seeing it. Probably harsh, but how is it more than a filter gives you?
