does anybody know where xsbelle went or if they uploaded their stuff onto another website? or maybe anybody saved their stories somewhere

That may be a different person.

But if that is who they're inquiring about, I know that unfortunately she's had recurring health issues (cancer) over the last few years. I have a personal e-mail for her, but when I sent her a message last year never got a response.

I'm sorry to hear that. I hope she is alright.

I did a search on the name he posted and came up with her.

I worry about the folks and health all the time. Dad's rapid recover from shoulder surgery has taken a setback. The older a person gets, the longer it takes to heal. I'm meeting him tomorrow to help me doing some stuff he can't quite do yet.

Yeah, it sucks when we realize mortality finds its way here as well.

I know what you're going through, my parents are in their 70's so I've been doing more and more for them. My mom had a stroke four months ago and has 4 stints in her heart, my father has hip and back issues.

I'm an only child so this gets to be all mine. But when the time ultimately comes I'll be able to look back and know I was able to do for them.

I'm adopted and his real kids (who were grown up when he and mum adopted me) aren't near. His son is 600 miles away and his daughter is about 900 away. Jo and I do our best with mum and dad. Her dad, my wife's dad, died several years go. He had mental issues at the end.

My folks are sharp as razors. :)

Good to hear about your folks, its beyond sad to watch their minds go. My mother's sarcasm is still sharp and lightning quick, I think she'll be fine.

I inherited her sarcastic wit and my father's temper. Some get the best of their parents, I got the worst....then again, it depends how you look at it, I guess.

Mine have been gone for close to 30 years. Everyone I've ever known to any degree has been gone for at least 5 years.

The family line dies with me.

Well I inherited no traits from them, you know the adoption thing. I did wear blue contacts one year to feel more like my pops. Couldn't do a thing about the shade of my skin difference. But, for ten years he's been working with me on my writing. Until we can coauthor stuff with only a slight difference in our style. Though, I do have his temper at times. A learned thing I'm sure. I think he learned it from me though.

A close friend and I used to joke that by the year 2099, we'd both definitely be gone. Then he passed in 2014 at the the age fifty-nine. He didn't even come close.

Now I'm sixty-six and I know, well, the future is here. The original Blade Runner was set in 2019 and Soylent Green was set in 2022. When I first saw them I thought, "Man, that's a long way off." Now one was two years ago ago and the other is next year.

Still waiting for the replicants and the flying cars. At least in New York, we don't have to say, "Soylent Green is people!"
