Xavier had just finished up a conference with Jean Grey on their next press release regarding the New Orleans situation when the telephone rang again. "Xavier speaking" "Charles, it's Forge I'm sending you an email with some x-rays I took of one of the mutants we apprehended at the airport. " "Yes I'm recieving them now." Xavier examined the odd printout showing two seperate skeletons in one body. "I must say Forge, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this." "Yes Charles it seems that the boy has two layers of bones, the outer layer seems to be trying to seperate from the other." "I'll have McCoy and Jean take a look at them but send him up here with Cyclops for further examination." "Will do Charles, goodbye." "Bye Forge." Charles hung up the phone and called for Beast and Jean.

Spiderman stepped off, standing next to her. He was just barely taller than her (that Superhero thing, the guy is always just a bit taller than the girl, lol). Staring into her eyes.
"You are only a freak because you think you're a freak. So, you have a few cravings, that's natural. You have no idea what happens to me when I see a flies. It's something you can get over. You are not a freak, you are a lovely woman, with a killer body and powers that you can use for yourself."
His hands went to her shoulders.
"If the only reason you want to kill me is so you yourself don't get killed, please stop this right now. I can help you, protect you, it's part of my job as a superhero. I even give certain discounts to superheroines who are in trouble.
"Please, let me help you."

Enter Irons

The Blackbird touched down in Westchester about one hour after Xavier got off the phone with Forge. Cyclops wheeled out a heavily sedated Irons' into the medical unit where Beast, Jean Grey, and Dr. Reyes were eagerly awaiting their odd patient. Beast drew some blood and quickly hurried over to his lab to examine it while Jean and Dr. Reyes gave Irons a physical.

Beast called Cyclops into the lab a few minutes later. "Scott take a look at this," Cyclops lowered his head to the microscope and examined the blood cells as Beast countinued talking, "at first it seems that Irons' blood cells are perfectly normal right? But watch what happens when one of the cells is split." Beast split the cell in half with his fingernail, Cyclops watched as the cell seemed to duplicate itself. "What does all his mean McCoy?" "Well Scott it means that at some point after Irons' mutation became activated, he was injured. His bones reconstructed themself and began to try and seperate from his body." Scott interupted, "..so his body is trying to rip itself apart?? Is there any way to reverse this?" "I don't know but I have to work quickly alert New Orleans immediatly, I can't send him back like this."

As the Advengers get to the bugel They ARe greated by Panthor . " Are you the X-Men ?"
Captian America looked at Panthor and said "No We Are the Advengers"

The advengers than Rushed in All the Brood Went to Work Fighting the advengers Except for Creed He just Sat there Soon All the Advengers Laid Out Side in the parking Lot Unconsius Captin America Was still up and fighting he went toward Panthor " Pleas Iam Atire Af this Game " With that said Panthor Sent Captin Flying Through the air He Landed On the roof where Spider man And The Black Widow were. Cap Now laid Unconsius in front of spider man ANd BlackWidow.

Back at The Bugel The Brood Stand looking At Creed "Why Did You Not Help Creed" Asked Panthor
Because I Iwant Only three People Mainac Wolveren And Wild Card ." Creed said

I didn't get a chance to respond Spiderman's words of wisdom. I had heard this before, my parents pleaded before I killed them, they told me the same thing. I tried to walk away, but something triggered me.

Suddenly the heap of a body clad in Red, White, and Blue landed before us.

I jumped. I quickly scanned the area with precision. This buidling was surrounded by webbing on three sides. In the opening stepped forth a man, Panthor. And a few others I did not recognize.

I sneered at him, "This is absolutely none of your concern Panthor. Back away."

He seemed to just laugh at me.
I cringed when he refered to me as a failed experiment.
"Failure? " I laughed, "lemme give you a kiss, and we'll see how much of a failure I am."

Spiderman had no clue what I was speaking of, the last time Panthor and I had met, he verbally caged me in, he had crushed my integrity so low...then he made the mistake of kissing me. Panthor was out like a light.

I knelt down beside the man who had fallen at my feet. I turned him, it was Captain America.

I looked up at Spiderman, then my gaze walked slowly around the perimeter. I think that Panthor and his men are alone.

In the flash of an eye, I had woven Captain America and sent him up into one of my webs, I had no clue what to do with him, but stumbling over him was not what I had intended.

(ooc. maniac, hopefully you post soon, Panthor and his gang are trying to capture you. But they aren't near yet. )

Storm

I turned around and someone collided into me. Joseph. My mouth didn't curve into it's ussual smile, nor did I look to happy. This plan of mine was working out perfectly, I couldn't have planned it better myself. (I am assuming we are outdoors, or if we aren't whoopsies!)

Lightening flashed in the sky as the rain seemed to pour down around me everywhere, except upon me.

My eyes grew to glow in that hazy white, then flashed as the lightening struck a nearby tree.

I noticed his sling. He seemed a bit confused about my behavior.

Ooc: This is all starting to not make sense, and I hate it when things start to not make sense. Talon, I hope you have a plan with all this, because all I've seen you do so far is walk around New York.


He checked on Captain America, a sort of friend. He had worked with him a few times before.
"You ok?" he slapped his cheek carefully.
Slowly, the man regained consciousness. He looked up, as if not registering what was going on.
"What happened?"
"Evil...."
Then, his entire body went limp. Spiderman sighed, looking at what Black Widow seemed to be staring at.
"Friends of yours?"
What in the hell was going on?

Joseph looked at Storm at first unable to say anything. He wondering what she was doing, making it rain all around the place except around her. He stood there, getting wet and just kept looking at her with one thought going through his head. What am I going to say to her... to Storm- to one of the X-Men. Someone who has been around since before I was even born. Ummmm.... could you please make it stop raining as I am getting wet?

He cleared his throat and begain to raise his right arm then almost screamed out in pain as he felt the pain shoot through his shoulder. He raised his left arm and said, "Ummm.... Storm. Why is it you are doing this. I know that you can but why?"

IC: I just stared up at Lava, smiling softly, when someone knocked and then entered the room, looking up I saw Logan standing there arms crossed over his chest. 'We got a problem....Creed's out' I sighed and shook my head and looked to Logan 'Where?'
'New York.......he's at the Bugle'

I rolled my eyes. 'Wonderful like Jameson had enough to blame on mutants now he's got that freak.'

'Well it's Creed and The Brood.'

I sighed and looked to Lava. 'I gotta go take care of this, you wanna come along?' I heard Logan huff at my question and then leave, but I was still under Lava and actually quite comfortable there, but duty called and Creed needed to be taken down.

OOC: Just a thought...
A few things are going very wrong here...one: There are too many of us, not that that's bad, but we're all using the same characters...and none of us actually know where the characters are. Suggestion: We have one major post, where the location of each character that isn't being controlled by a member of the board is made apparent. Eg. Prof. Xavier is in his office at the school (HIS school). Storm is outside, standing in the rain with Joseph...things like that. THen we each havea post where we state our characters location...then we'll know exactly what's up...That done, we should continue the story and pass off all the previous discrepancies (since there are too many to bother fixing--no offense to anyone, because I did the same thing with Prof. X) as suspension of disbelief.
Two: Many of us, including myself, don't have time to read two threads just to know what's going on in only one of them. I have little interest (meaning little time, actually) in joining both threads because I can't read them both to keep up. Therefore, we should probably seperate the two. Keeping them both on the same timeline is proving to be more work than pleasure, and the attempts to do so have been futile. Characters jumping from one to the other probably wouldn't cause much trouble, if any, or even characters being in both, but the two can't actively co-exist as they do now...it's just not working...

I didn't bother to ask, but just pulled the motorcycle in anyway. The Prof knew who i was and probably expected me to do so, so I figured, we might as well begin where we left off.
Once that was done, I met Rogue outside again.
"We'll start by testing your physical skills," she said.
My mind wandered in the wrong direction...physical skills, why'd she have to say it that way?
"Then we'll get to the books. I'm not sure who else will be able to help you, but I'll do whatever I can. Besides, you've got less than year's study less, right?"
I nodded, "I think so."
"The question is: Do you just want to graduate, to become better fit to live in the world? Or do you want to be an X-man?"
A good question. And one I had no answer for...
I shrugged, "Maybe an X-man," I said, thoughtfully, "But then again, you know me..."
SHe nodded.
"Don't play well with others, do ya' sugar?"
I just smiled. Oddly, she smiled back...

Additions to QC's post

OOC: QC I definatly agree that this thread is very troubled, but I don't agree that the X-Force thread is the problem. I feel that by posting these updates as I and other members of the X-Foce thread have, keeps everyone up to date without necessarily requiring one to go and read the other thread. Part of my reason for doing this is to incite a little action into the thread. It's no secret things have been rather stagnant here, it seems everyone is more interested in hanging around the mansion doing nothing but taking up time. The only breath of action in this thread has been widely ignored, Pooh and DT have provided some great opportunities for battles but have been ignored.

I do agree that we should point out where everyone is, which again I feel that the X-Force updates has done. As far as character cross overs goes, it's refreshing to both threads to see cooperation and is in the tradition of the x-books. It's not like we're just using characters to use them, each character that has crossed over has been to fufill an important role. I also want to encourage anyone who wants to take part in an X-Force thread to do so, as you know there's been a lot of action going on.

To sum it up, it's no secret that this thread is extreamly troubled. It's come to the point where I think a lot of people have stopped posting here because it's gotten dull. When these and other problems were brought to lite 2 weeks ago, they were dismissed by someone who took the feedback personally. Which is just wrong because if someone posts a suggestion they obviously don't want the post to die out either. So rather than argue, why don't we regroup here and add a little action in here.

OOC: Response to Pm Tick

OOC: Okay...just to get started on the right foot...I'm not in any way knocking the X-Force thread; I'm not saying that it is the problem...I haven't even read it, and in fact, have thought of jumping over to it, as 62 posts aren't too extensive to read to catch up and the action is probably better. What I am saying is that that thread and this one are very different (info. based on the aforementioned updates), and not necessarily compatible, but even if they are, the number of characters alone in the two combined is staggeringly hard to keep track of. This one has several characters alone. It needs work in the action deparment, but as long as we're all confused, it'll never get over any of the humps that stand in its way. Basically, I'm trying to point out that confusion will only breed more confusion, and things are definitely confused between the two threads. Alone, this one is a little boring, but if it was all that boring, no one would continue to post. We can always move the characters inot a better position, but we've got to have some sort of general direction, and this thread's direction isn't well-plotted as of yet. WE're trying, and that's all we can do, but somewhere along the line, we've got to start making some changes, not just wait to see if it pans out on its own. Separating the two will give each the chance to develop on their own.
If its decided that the two should remain together, i'll still post and I'll respect others opinions, but in my opinion, seperating the two will help a lot in terms of the thread finding its own greatly-needed direction.

OOC: QC, I know your not knocking X-Force at all, I apologize if it came off like that, and above all I respect your opinion because your one of the few people who want to see the thread countinued. If it is decided to segregate the two, I too will respect the decision. I'm just saying we have to get everyone out of the mansion and actually doing something rather than hitting on each other. DT, provided a very good enemy to do this with early in the thread and no one has moved on it at all. Really we both want the same thing but have different ideas about how it should be done.

Ooc: Seperation?
I'll make this short. I'd like it if they were seperated. It's nice that you are giving us updates, but it's not important to the X men thread, it's more like as you said before, incite to get people from this thread into the other one.
If people want to know what's really going on in the X force thread, then they'll go and read it. QC said it's not that long, if someone had the heart, and an hour to spare, they'd go in there to see what's up. I've stepped in there, because a few people have asked me, but haven't posted... since I don't know much about X force in the first place.
I think it'd be a great idea to have them join from time to time, you know characters crossing over, but that doesn't mean we have to swap every little thing that's happening in one to another? Why not use a little writing technique, most popular authors do it.

John: Hey Bill, haven't seen you in a while.
Bill:I know, I've been down in New Orleans and we've had to...

If it's important enough to tell us, at least do something like that. That way, we aren't confused, we can easily see this is simply a flashback to another thread and won't be so confused.

Now, we've got another problem. This thread isn't doing so hot itself, and beside some attempt at a villian by Dark Talon, nothing has really happened. What I think we should do is pick a person, at random, and have them develop (an) evil character(s) that we can all join forces with, and help fight alongside. They can even work with Dark Talon to create something interesitng. Like a mastermind behind all the senseless violence and evil. I'll toss my hat in the ring, just so we can get this thing moving.
These are just some ideas, if you have anything to add, delete, or just to say, please talk. I think we should pause and discuss this before going too much further

OOC: Pooh, again, I would rather see the thread go on in a productive fashion than take anything away from it. I do like your idea about having more villians, it's essential in fact. Like I'm sure eveyone is doing, I'll be thinking of a new character as well. In the mean time, let's do as QC suggested and have the characters all in one location so we have something to start with. This also means that a few people, including myself, have to think of a new hero to add as well, since my current one would be in the other thread. So do we want to set a deadline or something as to when we will move forward?

Now we have to weed out everyone we lost already...I think Bobo_daclown is gone for a while. Rayv I believe is mostly in the X-Force, if he's here at all...Gambit has only made one or two appearances, as have Lord and Shockwave...Iceman hasn't been around for a while, i don't think...I've placed an "?" next to all these names, since I'm not sure what's going on with them.
Now we've at least got the beginnings of a list. We need Maniac's approval before we try to change anything though...anyone heard from him?

OOC: Sorry that I've been AWOL since my last post.....got called to go overseas and it turned out to be a drill of how quickly I could get ready in case I was going to be sent. Took me a few days to get back into normal routine as for the changes, I've been looking over the comments, problems as well and I agree. The whole entire cross over was giving me a headache like no other. Simple rule that starts now and then as for the other stuff I'll sleep on it and give a answer monday. But for right now any X-force characters stay there...no more updating us on this post about what's going on here, except if one character runs into another and a quick flashback scene pops in. As for Talon.....keep up with Creed and the brood.....has been interesting....all I ask Talon, use a little puncuation. Been re-reading yer posts and getting headaches. Black Widow, my apologies for not welcoming you to the post earlier. Other than that I hope this post gets better due to the changes we will implement and that we all keep up our posting.

Let's see if we can get this thread moving in the right direction. And if it helps to add more bad guys, Bastard has the attitude for it, even if he isn't that powerful. All he really needs is to find that one power that's been eluding him...
