Vampire's Curse
All eyes focused on my pendant as it came to a stop in the centre of the table."I know at least one of them is close, but I doubt they would only send one". The beast raises an eyebrow,"Who?".
I stand silent searching for the right words,"Who they are, you dont have to know........mutants?, yes, but human as well". They look to each other obviously disturbed by my un-willingness towards total honesty. I notice that the red haired doctor Jean, had't arrived with the others. Xavier staired at the pendant worry lines on his forehead,"What is so dangerous about this pendant sugah?, you wear it around your neck!", The white streaked woman teacher put a hand on one of the guys I havn't seen before sholders, Looking at me puzzled.
"Its not the pendant but what it contains that there after, If I were to open the pendant..", I look down at the glowing necklace,"We need to know Luke", Xavier wheeled closer towards me. I walked over to the window again looking out."Imagine the state human mutant relations would be in, if somebody could take control of anybody with the X-Factor at will and use them like a walking time bomb".
Xaviers eyes narrowed,"What do you mean?". I bit down on my tounge before speaking,"There is a sort of energy ball encased in the locket of that neckless. I,....honestly have no idea of its origins, I dont think anybody does. I have heard rumers that it has alien relations but I have also heard it's man made, an experiment, whatever its old, forgotten...almost". I lean over the table grabbing the pendant in my hand.
"If It was not contained in this locket, this......artifact, would stimulate the X-Factor in my DNA causing mass power overload and complete loss of control over my powers". Xavier rested his elbows on the arms of his chair, folding his fingers in front of his mouth,"They would erupt with mutant power, there own gifts destroying them and all around them, every single mutant would be a veritable walking..". "Timebomb", I finish, Xavier looks up deep into my eyes.
The man the woman techer rested her hand on stood up banging his fist on the table with a soft thud,"Dis' is not good enough Vampire, we need ta know exactly who dis is dat we're dealing wit, you cant just expect us to fight blind", His pupils were red and surounded with black, they seemed to glow red as his voice became more urgent.
I bare my teeth as they grow longer with my temperament."Look, I dont think you need to know", I thought about using my hypnosis to persuade him, but dismiss it just as quick remembering where I am."Don give me dat, for all we know these guys could be rescuing dat little night light from you, oui?. How do we know we can trust dis one Profesor?". I grab the pendant tensing my muscles.
"Forget it, this is wrong, I shouldn't have bothered coming here!!", I stare down the cajun accented x-man before turing for the door.

i slump on top of him exhausted, still inside me, i just lay there, "you are gonna wear me out!" with my head on his chest i run my fingers over his shoulders, over his collarbone...little tiny shivers running through his body. we are both breathing really heavily. all of a sudden i hear a door slam. loud footsteps go down the main corrodor. i pull myself up. give him a lingering kiss, wrap the sheet around me "don't get up." i say with a wink. i open the door and am startled to find a tall man walk past, grasping something in his fist, as he was bulldozing through the hall he hit me with his shoulders while walking past. "hey!" i shout after him. "where the hell do you think your going?" he turns around his face flushed and he has very angry eyes. I step backwards sort of shielding myself. i hear nomad behind me rustling with some clothes and finally feel his hand on my hip. the man in the hall just looks at me. my eyes glow deep red and return to their natural color. patience isnt in my vocabulary.
i hear nomad speak "the lady asked you a question.."
the man plants his feet squarley in front of us sort of examining us.

i grip nomad's hand and wrinkle my brow in frustration. i feel nomad run a finger up and down my back. a slight chill runnin up my spin, i begin to wonder why i got outta bed. before i really can finish the thought i notice the pendant in his hand. he notices me staring at it. my hand hypnotically goes towards it.

Vampire Returns
The girl lookes me up and down at me intently demanding answers before he pulled her back to the room, she reminded me of Illyana. Before I can step out into the open, I feel a heavily muscled arm grab me across the chest."Hold up kid, I heard what you said back there", his voice was rhaspy and had a low growl to it. I went to move forward and his arm tensed holding me in place. I can only put up with such restrain temporeraly."Its not your problem or business", I looked into the shadows where he was standing trying to make out a face.
His arm relaxes returning to his side, I am surprised to see his shoulder lower than mine, this guy isn't over tall."Listen Bub, dont pay attention to the cajun. Most of us came here with shady past's. I aint the typical boyscout hero type either kid",I sense a small smile in his voice, "Xavier has helped me". I step back at the sudden sound of metal springing from flesh. Three blades shimmer under the light, protruding from the backs of his hands.
"Chuck and the X-Men will help you, against whatever, theres a lot that been thrown at us, you think your baddies are the worst.....bring em on!". He stepped out from the dark lighting a match. I looked down at the pendant irradiating in my hand. The short hairy guy retracts his mattalic claws with a "shink", then leans over to my coat pocket, "sniff.....sniff" he smells me before lighting the cigar at the corner of his mouth then offering the flame to me.
I reach into my pocket feeling torn by decision, pulling out a cigarette. I inhale using his match to light the end."You dont know these people, the fight won't end with this, even If we do win". I look into his eyes blowing out a cloud of smoke that snaked up into the cool morning air. He grinned revealing smaller but still evident....fangs of his own."Trust me kid, were used to that around here"
"Logan is correct Luke", I spin around to see Charles and the rest of the X-Men standing a small distance behind us, I dont know for how long. Xavier wheeled closer to me,
"You have my word Vampire, that the X-men will do everything in our power to stop this new threat, from falling into the wrong hands". I notice the cajun narrow his eyes, remaining silent.

after shivers of excitement run through my body, i get up, run a finger down his chest, climb off the bed, and grab two towels.. "what are you doing." "just put it on and follow me.." taking his hand after he wrapped the towel around his waist, i open the door and dart down the hallway to the shower rooms. passing a large crowd of x-men and that strange man, i keep walking as if im just taking a stroll, pulling nomad through the crowd i giggle and and a playful glimmer is in my eyes. nomad catches my gaze and just laughs. once in the showers, i close the door, grab him and plant a kiss on him. "i think were a little dirty, maybe we should get clean. " i turn on the water to nice and warm and i drop my towel and step under the flowing water

A suggestion....
OOC: Hope you guys dont mind me posting since I not apart of this thread but I have a suggestion. You know I have been thinking that this thread is so long that new people wont join and now it is only Lava and Nomad posting here regulary so I was wondering it you guys thought of continuing the X-Men thread in a new thread like X-Men part 2 so that you can continue with your old characters and having it continue in a new would allow newer people(like me)who arent joining because they dont want to read up on all of the backstory a chance to jump in. I mean at this point the thread is almost dead with only two people on it. Just thought I'd suggest that.

hey nomad, no prob. um maybe just focus your attn on the xmen take two thread, it seems to me as though that may be a little fun. i can revive this thread later, when you have more time, and we'll pick up where we left off, and if all you ahve time for is a few lines, go ahead and post em . hope to see you in the x0men take two thread, and i just got a new keyboard so spelling errors will be abundant till i get used to the damn curvy board.

OOC: Well I cant join this thread right now but thought that some of the newer people would like to be involved in the biggest thread in the history of the SRP board! It was my idea to start the X-Men take two thread and I think it was also my fault that the second thread died out so fast so I just wanted to move this up and give it a second chance. If it doesnt pick up again then maybe I'll start up my own X-Men thread but for now, I just wanted to see if this old dog had any fight left in him. And if not then at least I moved it up for the newer people to get a chance to read through this.
