~The refreasing shower lasted close to a half hour, he could have stayed in there all night but he was sure that whomever paid the water bill would just hit the roof. Kanyn stepped out, grabbed his towel and dried off completely before wrapping the towel around his waist and grabbing his CD player and walking back to his room.~

Doctor Grey grabs my arm, "I need a blood test Vampire, you powers may be lapsing for some reason". She sticks the sharp point into my arm, pulling back the plunger filling the cyringe with my blood. I feel my fangs grow larger because of the pain. "There is nothing wrong with my powers, something happened to me.......I don't know what, I've never felt anything like it before". Jean pulled the needle from my arm, replacing it with a cotton bud and bending my arm up.
I slid off the table walking over to my pile of clothes and pulling my pants back on. Illyana looked over at the Doc with a concerned look on her face, "What if, his powers are developing further", she turns to me, "They might have recently manifested causing your power lapse".
I looked down at the ground "I....saw someone, in my head". several seconds of silence followed before....."One again Illyana your hypothesis is correct" The familier hum of Xaviers hovering wheelchair filled the surgery. "Proffesor!" Illyana flashed a warm smile as she walked over to him leaning down to kiss his cheek.
"I know evrything that happened" Xavier went on looking towards me, "You do indeed have new powers manifesting Vampire, I sensed your energy while I was in bed, It woke me with a start but using my own mental probes I traced your brain waves and found.... something most surprising". I looked at Xavier confused, all this talk about new powers shocked me. On some molecular level my body was changing, The thought of this, and knowing I have no control over it scared me.

Xavier paused as If thinking, "Do you know how the sonar that bats use works?", Jean walked over to me taking her glasses off. "Don't they send out high piched sound waves that refract of objects sending information back to the bat?" she answered. Xavier nodded, "Precicely, and it seems that Vampire has a similar ability involving brainwaves".
"Bat sonar?", I repeat to myself, brushing my hair back of my face.
