Thsi thread is about the teenagers at the academy in X-men also people can be older Mutants if they want to.

Name: Steven Luison
Age: 18
Powers: Can discharge electricity from his fingers and create a electricity field aroud himself to block attacks and bullets also if he is covered in water or gets into wate then he is covered with electricity.
Hair Color: brown
Hair Length: down to ears and messy
Eye Color: Lightning Blue
Clothes: Normally wears Blue clothes to match his eyes.

Time to start:

Steven had run away from home at the age of 15 his mother and father had always been suspicious that he was a mutant as when they had tried to touch him when he was a baby they always got a static shock but t the age of 15 something happened Steven parents were holding a party and steven had been called outside by his mother then someone had jumped in the pool and the resulting spalsh covered him with water it had not happened before suddenly electricity had erupted from his fingers covering his whole body with electricity movie had screamed and was walking backwards he had tried to reach out but electrcity had shot out of his hand and had hit her in the chest then it stopped somebody called the police he had been held in his bedroom until a policeman had come to his room and told him he had to leave his family he tried to scream to his mum but she wouldn't listen when they were in the front garden a crowd had gathered he had seen their eyes he had seen hatred for him in every pair f eyes watching him that had made himangry his body became electricity again the police jumped back,

He aimed his ands at two of them and hit them with a blast of electricity then they started firing at him a shield appeared around him made of electricity blockign the bullets he pushed out with his hands the shield shot out knocking everyone over then he ran.

Now here he was 3 years later standing at the entrance of the Academy he had no idea what to do it seemed like everyone else was on break as teenagers and kids were runing about everywhere a girl the same age as himself appoached him and said

Name: Selina Aldros

Age: 18
Powers: can create fireballs in the palms of ehr hands and can change into a firey four legged beast (she won't know this bit until later, though).
Hair Color: Red
Hair style: long, thick an wavy. kept pulled back by a silver metal head band.
Eye Color: Green
Clothes: black jeans, red silk short sleeve shirt that buttons up, black leather trench coat, black sneakers.

Selina was born "normal". There seemed to be no signs of mutation. But, when she turned 16 things begin to change. She started to become short tempered. When angey or annoyed she felt her temperature rise. This feeling scared her and forced herself to calm down. One day her younger brother (2 years difference) pushed her too far. She became so angry that punched him in the shoulder. But, as she did, her hand was engulfed in flames. His shirt quickly became enflamed. The fire from her hand dissappeared. She grabbed a pillow and began pounding it on him to put out the fire. When it was complete he was burned on his shoulder. Fortunately not seriously.

Well, her parents decided they would not wait for a more serious "accident" to occur. They wanted her to see some doctors about this strangeness. Selina feared she would be treated like some experiment. She fled from her parents hom in the night. She wandered the streets sleeping in alleys and card board boxes. No one on the street bothered her, though. They were all afraid of her. To survive she stole food from stores, stands, gardens... Where ever she could.

One day a black van pulled up and goons came after her. She knew she had been found and fled. Then she came across the academy. She watched from a distance for a few days. Then, she snuck over the wall and hung around in the shadows to see and hear what she could. Soon, she realized this place had mutants like her in it. So, she decided the next day she would try to get into it.

She waited the next day until someone went through the gates and followed him in. As he stood there looking about she approached him and said hello.

Helena Smith

((Hope you don't mind me joining, sounded like a great thread))

Age:18

Powers: She has control over the elements, wind water and fire as well as a magnetic sort of force. Even the smallest drop of water can turn into a great flood in her hands, a simply breaze can become a full blown hurricane. She can freeze, and set things aflame.

Hair Color: a very deep purple, almost black, with subtle strands of blue and deep red.

Hair style: very long hair, down to the small of her back, in thick full ringlet culrs.

Eye color: They tend to change with her use of powers or her mood, but when she is not using her powers, they are a mysterious deep violet.

Clothes: A pair of green and white track shorts and a matching top, a pair of white sneakers and a necklace with a small symbol on it. (we will find out about the necklace later)

I had lived at the academy my whole life, being brought here by my birth mother as a baby. I had no recolection of who she was, let alone my father, all I had was this necklace, I had had it my whole life and was told that when I was brought here it was already around my neck. The academy's array of mentors and teachers had raised me, and did an excellent job. I was born a mutant so training of how to use my powers began almost immediatly. I was able to control them for the most part now, only emotions preventing me from having full control.

I had become one of the top students at the academy, working with the younger children and doing my part to return the generosity of everyone at the Academy. I would hope to become a mentor and teacher myself there someday, seeing as I had no other family, and no intentions of making one myself. I had never really found any feeling of passion or love for anyone, and didn't think I ever could.


I could hear rustling at the door as I helped out with the "Phys.Ed." class (a bunch of children flying and climbing walls and throwing heavy objects without moving a finger...). I quickly jogged to the door, my hair back in a long pony tail waving back and forth as I move. I look through the peep hole to see two kids, about my age, new yes, lost no. I wait a second or two to catch my breath and then open the door, smiling at them,

" Welcome to the Academy, how may I help you?"

He turned to the girl who had walked up to him and had said "hello", she had red hair which was quite long and was held back by what looked like a slivery head band he was normally very unemotional with people ever since his parents had given up on him but he liked those eyes.

"Hello" He said quite warmly.

Suddenly the huge door in front of them opened and a girl who looked the same age as him opened the door she too had quite long hair but it was a dark shade of purple almost black and had highlights in it and was tied back in a ponytail at the present time.

"Hello my name is Steven and this is..." he turned to the girl next to him.

I invited the two in, sensing something about them, fear, nervousness, obviously harmless.

" Hi Steven, I am Helena, please come in, your talents are welcome where."

I smiled warmly and looked at the scared pair, I could see that they were unsure of why I was so warm and welcoming, let alone why there were hundreds of other people roaming around, just like them. I knew they were just like me from the get go, I sensed it, something every mutant had the capability of, finding other like themselves.

I walked them to a small empty classroom and pulled some chairs over (metal legs on the chairs ), taking a seat with them. I crossed my thick yet toned legs and pulled a few peices of hair out of my face behind my ears.

" So, what...or who brings you to the academy, are you two looking to join us?"


I questioned both of them together, assuming they were a pair of some sort, friends siblings etc.

Selina exhaled as the door opened. For some reason she felt nervous. As if this was some new life she was stepping into. A great unknown....

When it was her turn to say her name she just said, "Selina". When her intentions were inquired of she said, "I thought I was the only one. I know I am not. I was drawn to the likes of those like myself. I don't know anyone here. No one brought me here. No one told me of this place. I stumbled upon it and my interest has been.... sparked. It is nice to meet the both of you." Selina then turned her gaze to a window as if she was out of words and was not keen on eye contact.

I smiled softly at the girl, she seemed so unsure, even untrusting, always on her gaurd...it was understandable.

" Well I am glad you have found interest in us, we are always wanting new students and love having more people like us around. Everyone here is pretty friendly, just be careful of the younger kids, they still have yet to gain control over their umm, abilities."


I giggle as I mention the younger kids, looking over to Steven, awaiting to hear why he is here.

" Well Steven, what brings you here? Are you two together?"

I look up between the two of them, and start playing with the pen on the table near by, making it spin in circles.

Powers: Can can absorb any type of energy directed toward him and project it from his body, can also shoot raw energy in concussive blasts from his hands and has telekinetic powers.

Clothes: wears black baggy pants, white wifebeater, and a green pendant with small multicolored gems in it.
Bio: Has been at the mutant academy for several weeks now, before he got there he doesn't remember what he did, but he does know one thing, he was a experiment, the person who changed him was a mutant with white skin, red eyes and a red gem in the center of his forehead, Professor Xavier told Impact the man is called Sinister a mutant scientist. Sinister reconstructed Brian's genes to give him somewhat multiple powers, he was orginally only a mutant with telekinetic abilities but with Sinister playing God he gave Brian new powers. Brian had no idea how he escaped, but with the scars on his chest he knew he had to fight to get away, he has no family to his knowledge, he knows only one thing, the X-Men are his family now.

Brian sat under the tree in the backyard of the academy, he had his eyes closed but he wasn't sleeping, he wore black shorts, black shoes and a white tshirt. Around him many teens played together, they were either on the basketball court, or swimming in the pool. Many of them just sat around like him gossiping or joking around, but there was a great majority of them doing homework from several of the classes they had to take in the school.

Brian's eyes opened, his white pupils looking up at the sky as the wind started to blow.

Selina just quietly listened as the other girl spoke. When she mentioned them being together Selina snapped at her, "I just told you I don't know him and I came alone." Selina felt annoyed. Thus was typical of her though. Ever since her "powers" arose so did impatience and a quick temper. She was unimpressed at the spinning pen as she stood up with furrowed eyebrows and walked over to a window trying to calm her temper, "No one listens to me! I see that is true here too." She flicked her long red hair (which seemed to match her red hot temper) over her shoulder and looked out the window. She watched the children running about looking happy. She could not help but smile when she saw one of the boys raise his hands and make an ice sculpture for a girl he must have had a crush on.

Her eyes then caught someone else. Someone sitting in a chair with white skin. Not just a pale caucasian. We are talking porcelain white here. When he looked up to the sky she saw something shimmer on his forehead and wondered what it was.

"I I don't want to talk about how i came here and i believe it is obvious why i am here also i only just met this girl at the gates also could i please ask you to stop delving into our pasts i wish to get this over with as fast as possible" he said rudely.

He too was growing impatient "And she's right you should listen" He too looked out the window he could see a swiming pool and he quickly looked away ever since that day he feared water incase he hurt anyone again.

Somewhat shocked by the two, I was taken aback, my niavety getting the best of me, not realizing how uncomfortable the two really were.

" Uhhh umm well I am sorry, I was just asking, common questions the dean would be asking, but when she is extra busy its my job to welcome and find out about new students... but you don't seem very interested in being welcomed so I will just get down to the paper work."


I looked down quickly doing my best to remain kind but much more proffessional, seeing that neither of them wanted a friend. I picked up the pen I was playing with and handed it to Steven with a couple of papers askings some basic questions. I stood up and walked to the door,

" I will be right outside here with the younger kids when you two are done with those papers, I am sorry for what ever discomfort I caused... I meant no harm."

I quickly stepped outside, putting back on my familiar yet false smile, helping and playing with the younger children, waiting for them to return the papers to me as I continued with the Phys. Ed. class. As I walked out I smiled and waved to Brian, another new kid, but he was slowly warming up...or so I thought.

A familar figure caught Brian's eye as he sat under the tree. It was Helena, the first person to show him around campus when he first arrived, he saw her wave and nodded to her. He didn't smile much, but when he did it suprised people, he had the kind of face that made it seem as if he never smiled. He turned his gaze back to the sky and tried desperately to remember anything he could about his past.

Professor Xavier told him not to force it, it will come to him gradually or not at all but Brian couldn't live his life not knowing who he was and why the mad scientist Mr.Sinister made him this way.

Selina sighed as the girl left the room. She now felt bad at the thought of hurting the kind stranger's feelings. She mumbled under her breath, "Damned temper!" She walked over and flopped down next to Steven. She exhaled, "Think we were too hard on her? She might not listen very well but she seems nice enough. You and I seem very similar, Steven. We are both short tempered and....." She sighed again, "Seem to be angry inside. Maybe even hurt." Her eyes stared into his for a moment feeling a connection. She nervously looked away and down to the papers she was to sign.

memories of the event flashed threw his mind pictures of his mum screaming the hatred in those eyes the screams the yells filled his head he turned back to her his temper rising again.

then he looked into those eyes those green eyes and he calmed down the need to do something faded his anger subsided and the event vanished from his mind he was absorbed in the eyes then she turned her head away so he couldn't see her face, he sighed and looked at her hair for a minute it suited her.

he turned himself back to the papers.

Description: Comiel was born in Russia, and moved to North America when he was twelve years old. Shortly after arriving, his powers began to manifest and he started to gain weight at an alarming rate. His physique changed only in his becoming taller, and more muscular, but his actual body mass rocketed up to impossible levels. This was due to a sudden increase in body mass, putting Comiel somewhere in the range of 650-700 pounds. He appears tall and well-built, perhaps around 220 pounds. His mass and desnity increase was accompanied by a significant increase in strength, as well as the ability for his body to withstand massive amounts of physical force.

IC: Comiel stepped out of the taxi, the rear suspension springing the back end of the vehicle up, released from his massive weight. He looked up at the ornate gates to the Academy. Hopefully here they would be able to accomodate him. He had been kicked out of multiple boarding schools, foster homes, and even military adacemies, simply for the fact that noone had the facilities to support someone like him. Maybe here, where they were accustomed, no, specialized, to deal with... people like him, he could find somewhere a little more permanent.

He approached a speaker next to the gate, and, pressing the small button beside it, the gate swung open soundlessly. With a shrug, Comiel stepped onto the Academy grounds. Not knowing what else to do, he started toward the doors of the impressive building, hoping to find someone who could direct him to the headmaster.

Just odd. Selina removed her hand and looked to him nervously, "Ok, now that was weird. Did you feel it too? It-it was like electricity flowed from you and into me. But, it didn't hurt me." Her eyes looked to him more curious than afraid.

Race: Caucasion
Age: 23
Hair: a shaggy mass colored Auburn, Red, Black, and Brown up close but from far away it looks black
Eyes: big and brown like a happy dog!
Clothes and Looks: When teaching the kids and walking around on campus he wears a white shirt with a loose black tie and loose fitting blue jeans. He also wears glasses. Leon is the tallest resident of the academy standing 7' tall however he is skinny and is not an imposing figure. When on a mission with the X-Men he wears a brown leather jacket with a large blue X symbal on the back over a black wool shirt with a white X on the front. He also wears black jeans with 2 small X marks on the left thigh.
Powers: Has complete control over the particles called Higgs bison and the "Connective lines" they create with all matter and energy. This means he can create many different quantem forces such as gravity and wormholes and control there direction, strength, and alignment. This gives him the ability to, replicate and nuliphy, Bypass other mutants powers. Because Leon's powers control reality itself there is no way whatsoever to be unaffected by his powers. Leon is also a very smart guy having an IQ around 200.
Bio:Leon's birth was monitored by Xavier. When Xavier saw a glimpse of the future where Leon had been trained by Magneto to do evil and how powerfull he was, Xavier sent an X-Man to kidnap him. Leon was raised with full knowledge of what had happened at his birth and his is happy that it happened this way. Leon grow close to Xavier and looked up to him like a father he still does now. Leon has a good reputation with the kids as a very kind and helpfull man who is willing to spend as much time as he can helping students with there problems be it school related or not.

IC: Leon walked through the hall heading towards a math class that he was a few minutes late for. He wondered to himself how badly the classroom would be with the 30 odd students blasting around. He opened the door and quickly lyed down a tangible field that forced all the stundents who were not at there seats to fall down. "So class if the students who are on the ground could take a seat then we can get started"

Age: 19
Appearance: Originally from Sao Paolo, Brazil, Joao is a tall (6,8') and black. He usually wears his hair in an afro, which he takes great pride in. His appears shorter than he is due to the fact that he wears <a style='text-decoration: none; border-bottom: 3px double;' href="http://www.serverlogic3.com/lm/rtl3.asp?si=24&k=baggy%20clothes" onmouseover="window.status='baggy clothes'; return true;" onmouseout="window.status=''; return true;">baggy clothes</a> and has an innate, gorilla-like slouch. He has very long, strong limbs.
Powers: In addition to having the strength of a professional athlete, Joao is extremely agile and acrobatic. It's not surprising that people who see him for the first time think of him as a monkey. He has a knack for climbing surfaces others couldnt even get a grip of. Also has the ability to jump high into air, like a cat. In short, think of Beast without all the blue fur and you've pretty much got him covered.

Bio: Joao was born into an extremely poor Sao Paolo family. He and his siblings had to do tricks on the street for money just to survive. It was soon discovered that Joao was the acrobatic one of the bunch. He become known as "the rubber kid" on his street. He could stand on his hands and put his feet behind his hands. As he get older he started to differ more and more from the other kids. They started giving him a hard time because of his long arms. He was also terrible at soccer, Brazil's pride and joy, but soon realised that his speed and length fit perfect for basketball. He quickly worked himself up through the national leagues and at the tender age of 16 got an offer to play for an american college team. It was in the US that his dormant powers began to manifest themselves. However, the americans were far less accepting of his "superhuman" powers and he was suddenly an outcast of society, living in the streets once again. And it was here that Xavier found him and took him under his wings as a student of the academy. hough he is very smart he prefers partying before studying.

IC: Although he'd been living on school grounds for about a week or so, this would be his first day as a student. All around him everyone was part nervous, part cocky and showing of their powers to each other. He found that his hanging from the roof upside down made many of the others stare in awe. He wondered why the teacher hadn't arrived yet, he was curious as to what would greet him here. Suddenly a tall, scrawny guy came in the class room. Joao just presumed that it was another student and greeted him:
"Todo ben?"*
Instead of an answer he was hurled to the floor by an invisible force.
"So class if the students who are on the ground could take a seat then we can get started"
Ouch, this was a teacher? This school was gonna be rough. he hurried to the nearest available and tried to fit himself behind it.

"oh im sorry its something i can't control..well it normally only happens to people i like oh...no i didn't mean that urhhhhhhhhhhhh i can't really explain it but i really didn't mean that" he said putting his hands in his head he had embarrased himself by letting his power take control he really hadn't expected her to put her arm on his shoulder noone had even talked to him in a friendly way let only give a friendly gesture since "that day"

"umm im just gonna...go yeah go outside sorry for the thing again i really didn't mean it" He had made the girl feel arkward yet again something he had not meant to do, he liked the girl she had been one of the first people ever to actually be nice to him since "that day"

He got up and walekd outside the door and leaned against the stone.

IC: After waiting a few minutes for everyone to sit down and get settled, Leon started writing down a formula on the blackboard. When he was finished he turned around and waited 32 seconds to let everyone see it and start thinking about it. "Does anyone know what this is..." Leon paused looking over the class no one put up there hand to show that they wanted to speak. *Fine then i will pick one of them* he thought to himself and pointed at a young black haired white girl and said "So why don't you tell us what we are looking at miss....?"
"Camilla" she said "my name is Camilla and that is the equation for finding the number of modes per unit frequency per unit volume of black body radiation." she said confidently.

OOC: Anyone who wants to play a female character can play Camilla you are free to make up her powers looks and personality (however she is smart and is a white skinned black haried woman of about 18 years and her name is Camilla feel free to make a good X-Woman name for her!)

IC: Leon taught the class and they all had fun, not a boring minute. When the class ended he asked one of the newer students named Joao Ben if he would follow him as he needed to gather a few other students. Leon had recieved a list of new people who had wandered onto campus who would need to be shown around, mentally from Xavier. Leon could see superimposed images of the new kids in his mind now he just had to find them. Leon leading Joao through the doorway into the hall saw one of them right away. Leon walked up to a Brown haired youth and said "Hello Steven pleased to meet you. My name is Leon and right now i will be responsible for organising you into our school." he said in a friendly tone he then said "Follow us" and walked into the room. Inside Leon saw the new Red haired girl and said "Hey there Selina and welcome to Xavier's academy for gifted youngsters. You are also in my dorm compound and it is my responsibility to make sure you settle in. By the way my name is Leon" After finishing talking in a friendly tone he asked if Selina too would "follow him" The group followed Leon down a few steps to the front door where he then opened it to see a large man standing there. Leon said "Hello Comiel and welcome to Xavier's academy for gifted youngsters. You can follow me to get a room and to register." He says again in a friendly tone and again asking for Comiel to follow with the rest of the group. Now the group followed Leon out into the backyard of the academy. Leon saw who he was looking for and called out "Hey Brian come over here i will need your help with some new students" Leon said like it was something really exciting. he waited for Brian to walk over then they all went over to dorm section C (a small building just west of the main building.) In the main hall Leon stopped and turned to face the group. He looked them over for a second smiling lightly then said "Selina, Steven and Comiel. Welcome to your new residence while attending this academy. This is Dorm section C and i am the Dorm master if you have any problems feel free to ask. This Section has 3 floors and each floor has a prefect who is responsible for certain duties. Well the prefect for the ground floor is Brian here" Leon points to Brian "Brian would you be so kind as to show Comiel his room on the ground floor. Next the prefect for the first floor is Helena" Leon points out Helena "Helena could you show Steven to his room on the first floor. And last but not least the prefect for the second floor is Joao here" Leon points out Joao "Well Joao could you show Selina to her room... thankyou now you will have 15 minutes to move in a get to know section C. it isn't so big so there is plenty of time. After 15 minutes we will all meet in the dinning hall located on the second floor. I will go around and check how every one is getting on jouring that time now Lets go" He finishes with a friendly smile and follows Brian and Comiel starting on the ground floor.

"So, you're Selina, no? Nice to meet you, I'm Joao." He extended her his hand.
"I know it's scary at first, but we're all in this together, no? I only lived here for bout a week and I'm already like fish in water."
The girl still seemed self contained and Joao had a feeling she had a temper so he tried his best to cheer her up.
"Now, come on. Let me show you to your room. Need any help carrying your bags cause that's kind of my forte. You gonna love it up on second floor, it's the party floor."

Selina could not help but smile at Steven. She thought to herself, "I have flustered the poor boy." She walked behind him and said, "I like you too, Steven." Before anything else could be said, the moving in bit started. She was surprised that a guy she had never met before knew who she was. She decided to ask him about that sometime.

She just nodded as introductions were made. She followed to the Dorm and just smiled and nodded. When the instructions were given about the 15 minutes, she smiled and nodded again. Selina listened to Joao as he spoke. She then snapped at him, "I am scared of nothing. I have no bags. I have what I am wearing. It's like that when you've been living in card board boxes in alleys. And I don't care about partying. I am here to learn how to control my power, not to make friends or party. "

Selina closed her eyes and exhaled, "I'm sorry. That was uncalled for. Please, just lead me to my room." She thought about Steven for a moment and wished he had been assigned to her floor. There was something about him that made her feel calm.

"Brian? I am Comiel." Comiel's deep, accented voice resonated down the hallway. "Lead the way." The floor gave a squeal or protest as he shifted his weight, and he was thankful his room would be on the ground floor. He was pretty sure the floors here would support him, but he would rather not take any chances. Either way, the fall wouldn't hurt him, but it would still be rather uncomfortable to crash through several expensive-looking tile floors on his first day. "So... what does this place offer in terms of education?" Comiel tried to be friendly, but as a result of his... mutations... he wasn't used to socializing. Even after all these years, language still posed a small problem every now and then.
