She looks up at Rictor, who is not looking any better than her... " Hey you... hehe... you are also late arent you... want to give a lady a hand? " Boomer extends her hands to Rictor so he can help her get up.

Martinique grins at Omega Red... " Do you want a demonstration? "

Arkady sneered at her, "I don't trust mentalists, they don't know what physical combat is like! You talk a good game, pretty one, but I doubt your power. "

Ric rolls his eyes and sighs before extending a hand to help Tabitha up. "My head still hurts from lastnight. And I can't seem to remember where we are supposed to meet the others. Do you know?"

Walking around the base I realized that I had no idea what this meeting was about at all. Hmm you know with outside being so damn hot it is unusally cold inside the X-Force base. Maybe walking around with no shirt on was not the best idea I ever had. Damn my ego must have been huge this morning that I had to show off my six pack abs. Damn vanity.

Wait a minute I think I hear voices. One of them is definately Tabitha. I begin to head toward the voices in hope that maybe someone knows what is happening.

Traveling along the desert road doing 90 on her glistening black bike with the hair rustling and her skin cooling off from the suns rays with the wind, she travels towards the X-Force's HQ wondering if she should have packed less or more.

" So a demenstration it is... ok then... ", Martinuque takes a step back from Omega and concentrates on her powers, targeting Omega Reds mind, reaching out for him and starting to do what she knows best... manipulating minds and emotions...

Martinique starts with a simple feeling of hate... Omega Reds hate towards the X-Force team, a hate he probably never new existed, but now with her help, did... a feeling pf pure hatred, just wanting to get the chance to obliterate the entire team, destroy everything and eveyone that represents X-Force.

Martinique fills Omegas mind with illusions of battles... battles in which Omega Red came out victorious, all the battles where against X-Force members... and all of those victories satisfied his hatred against them...

" No, I dont remember, the only thing I know is we are already late and we better get going... ". Tabitha takes hold of Rictors hand and pulls herself up with his help...

" My god, and that little party last night seemed like such a great idea... ". Tabitha smiles at Rictor " So how are you feeling handsome? "

Arkady began to thrash about, forgetting he had Mastermind in his tentacle. "Arrrrgh...err.....Cassidy.!!!" His free tentical smashed against the side of a dumpster, leaving a sizeable dent in it.

Going off road she travels towards the area of where the HQ is located watching for possible mutie haters wanting to find their possible prey, hell this chick will give them prey if they want it.. clothed or not. I wonder whose already messing around with the rugs in the HQ ,she wondered to herself as she nears the final lenght of her travels.

"Yeah it was great...loved every minute of it" Rictor says with a sarcastic smile. He really did have fun. He thought Tabitha was one of his cooler teamates. "Next time I'll have to remember not to try to keep off with you. Wolverine couldn't have gone through so many" Rictor says while laughing.

Having forgotten why he first came by Meltodown's room Ric is ready to continue chatting when he hears footsteps behind him. "Oh great, Cable's come to get us himself. He's going to be pissed we're so late!" Rictor was incredibly relieved to see it was Sunspot approaching the two.

The relief dissappeared when he saw the look on Sunspot's face resembled his minutes ago. "What's up Roberto? Let me guess...you forgot where we're training too?" Rictor asks?

Omega tightens his grip around Martinique´s waist... " Oh shit... ", Martinique focuses again on Omega´s mind... repressing the uncontrolable hate and the battles... making them disappear slowly... fading into nothing...

Omega loosened his grip and dropped her to the ground. "...Fine then I will aide you in your assault on Cassidy. I must leave now though and find a place to stay."

Sam Guthrie /Cannonball

Watching the Sun emerge from behind a red rocked butte, Sam sat in deep thought. He was scared of the leadership this group had thrust upon him. His power was changing, mostly for the better, but he had less and less time to work on it. He appreciated their faith in him, but was afraid that he may let them down like he did to Lila Cheney. He remembered her fondly, the time they had together was special. He wondered if she thought about him too. Enough of such thoughts, time to do some working out while I have the time. Getting up early, just like back at the farm, gives me some free time.

Sam jumped off the edge of the canyon, his power thrusting downwards to lift him up towards the heavens. He did a few leisurely turns to get him body awakened to his power. Then he pushed himself, jetting towards the clifffaces to turn at the last second to avoid. His invulnerability in flight was a good thing in case he misjudged. After working up a sweat, he landed on the ground near a stand of cacti.

He wiped his brow, getting ready to concentrate anew. He turned his hands and fingers towards the cacti, willing himself and his power to work . He was rewarded when a blast of thermopower burst the cacti to pieces , some of which landed hundreds of yards away. "Woooohoooo, that worked like a charm." , Sam said picking himself off the ground. "Next time I have to remember to brace myself. "

Nonetheless pleased with the results, Sam vaulted into the air, his power propelling him to the compound in no time. Excellent, I will arrive in time to take a shower before the meeting starts. Sam lands near the door and enters, immediately going to his room to shower and get ready. He gets to the meeting room at 8:50 , in time to check his papers to make sure they are in order. He sits and waits for the others to arrive.

Screeching to a halt inside the compounds garage she heads out to the meeting area wondering what this thing is all about. As she enters the room she sees a person already sitting and waiting and she sits close but not too close.

Ororo Monroe

The air raced through Storm's long, white hair. She arched her head back as she flew, picking up speed riding the winds. She turned her head back down, seeing the road far below. It appeaded as though a vehicle had stopped.

She flew down closer out of pure curiosity.

A bus was slowly accelerating, and a lone figure was on the side of the road. No buildings nearby, and it didn't look like a bus stop.

She decided to get a much closer look...

Storm glided down slowly behind this lone stranger, who had began to take a few steps in the direction the bus was headed. Something about this person looked familiar. Her clothing... Her hair... Those boots... those boots... boots... Jubilation Lee!

"Need a lift, stranger?" Storm said.

Jube turned around with a jerk.

Sam looked at the clock on the wall. 9:15 already, they were all late. How were they ever going to function as a team if they would not even show up when asked? They all needed to work on their teamwork, even I do. He was going to give them 15 more minutes before he went looking for them.

A slight breeze pick up beind her & a familiar voice calls out. "Need a lift, stranger?" Jube turned around with a jerk. "Ororo, do you know ya scared the heebee geebees outta me. Yea, I could use a lift. Hey what are ya doin' way out here in boonie-land anyways?" Storm gives her an inquisitive look. "I could say the same of you, Jubilee."

Jub turns a bit red but not from the sun. "Well ~ Huckseed, I mean Paige, needed someone to bring a care package to Guthrie, thats Sam. Sooo ~ since I am her roomie & friend, she asked me. Do you know where the X-Force compound is? Cos Paige didn't give me any precise direction."

At that moment Sunspot walks down the hallway... also lost and not going where to go...

" Well, so none of us knows where the meeting was supposed to be... does anyone know where am is? ".

" Well Im glad my powers are convincing enough... as to where to stay... well I guess you couldnt just walk into a hotel right... dont tell me you are planning to stay in one of these old warehouses?".

" Well Im sure you have, only this time you are with me remember? and i amot sleeping in some alley... ". Martinique turns her back to Omega and starts walking... " SO are you coming? Ive got a car waiting a couple of blocks away... I will get you a place to rest... ".

Sam finishs tapping on the table. He gets up, stretches his long legs and decides to go find the other members. Maybe they are not familiar with this base and did not know where to go . He goes towards the hallway with the dorms and finds most of them standing around talking. Sam sighs.. "Ok, people time for the meeting. Come on into the meeting room, follow me. " Sam turns and walks back the way that he had come. Boy, I hope Cable gets here soon. They might respect him more than me, so maybe they would make a meeting on time then.

Storm - go figure

"Of course I do, Jube. You've gotta hang on tight though."

Ororo winks at Jubilee with a look so seductive not even the Professor could resist it.

Jube really didn't have to hang on tight - the wind would keep her safe.

Jubilee giggles and looks almost into Storm's soul as she runs over and jumps at her, while at the same time Storm lifts them both up. Jubilee really did hang on tight though. Storm didn't mind at all.

Off they flew toward the X-Force hideout.

Sam sighs.. "Ok, people time for the meeting. Come on into the meeting room, follow me. " Sam turns and walks back the way that he had come.

Boomer immediately follows Sam pulling both Rictor and Sunspot with her... It must be hard to be left with the responsability of the group Bommer thinks as she follows Sam down to the meeting room...
