I don't need to go to the theater to see the result of Jen having children.

I didn't read the book so had no prior exposure.

Decent movie, nice pace. Scary flocking zombies. Some improbable stuff happens within the framework, but that's typical.

Worth seeing on the big screen.

she'd hate it, a bunch of people working together without pay to bring about hope and change against a world hell bent on consuming itself

Good, but not a classic. Some good set pieces, though the best one comes very early. People who liked the book might be disappointed that there's little relationship with it aside from the title, the worldwide scope, and the presence of zombies.

Also: even when Brad Pitt is playing an ex-UN functionary, he still keeps the dumbass hair.

^^^ typical socialist obummer juice smoker. preaching an antiwork ethic is a sickness and you have a diseased mind. take off your blindfold and listen to the obama's lies for what they are.

The zombies were pretty fast and creepy looking. I think it missed out on some up close hand to hand combat, gratuitous blood and gore scenes. Lots of zombie scenes were either dark or they were in hordes and filming was fast.

Nice trees.

I saw this in Melbourne Friday night.

The first 20 minutes was good.

It devolved from there with the search for 'patient zero', or whatever, in Korea and then on to Israel.

The premise that terminally ill people and associated disease are camo that the zombies can't pick up on wasn't plausible.

The scenes at the WHO lab in Wales were ridiculous.

Worst of all, there wasn't enough gore if you ask me.

A lousy film!
