Just a microcosm of what some authorities think of their constituents. Perhaps they should be more concerned of what their constituents think of them.

The Thursday before last I was out at the range and a large group of State Police were out there for their semi-annual firearms qualification. They were standing around in groups of various sizes before the qualification started and not a single one of them were wearing a face mask (neither was I). These are the folks the governor was sending out to enforce the face mask mandate. Telling indeed.

This immediate past Thursday the governor held a rally locally to announce her re-election bid. There were 3 protestors present for every supporter. Yet another 'tell.'

Anger is rapidly replacing fear and the most recent revelations re. the Wuhan Flu and how it was handled have been feeding that anger. The former president is not the focus of that anger.

Now it is Fauci that is trying to walk it all back. Prior to the recent disclosures I had very little to say about Fauci.

Is the Wuhan lab BSL-4 certified? - On paper, yes. Although knowledgeable researchers assert that it is poorly constructed and barely reaches the level of BSL-3.

Was Fauci instrumental in having the Trump administration halt the moratorium on funding such research in foreign labs put in place by the Obama administration removed? - Yes.

Has a zoonotic source for the Wuhan Flu virus been found? - Maybe. There are reports that an identical virus has been found in a bat cave in Hunan Province (several hundreds of miles from Wuhan) but attempts to obtain said virus to make a comparison have been blocked by the CCP.

Did the Wuhan lab have said virus? - Yes. They were collected by the "Bat Lady."

Was Fauci aware that that lab was engaged in "gain of function" research? - Yes.

Did Fauci approve grants to that lab for research into bat and similar viruses? - Yes.

Has Fuaci attempted to obfuscate his role or any investigation into the source of the Wuhan Flu? - Until the Emails came out, yes. Now he is trying to walk back his previous position on the issue.

Was the Wuhan Flu genetically engineered? - We don't know. (See zoonotic source previously addressed.) If the bat virus is identical in all respects then no. However that still doesn't rule out a lab release of the virus. The fact that the CCP has blocked all access to that cave is not confidence building. They are well aware that in this case they're damned if they do and damned if they don't . If it is identical then they have to explain how it got from Hunan to Wuhan. If it isn't then it most certainly was human engineered and it's back to that lab again.

Fauci's problem all revolves around the source. His waffling on masks, etc. can be excused. Even his silence on massive shut downs contrary to known science (schools for example) might also be overlooked. But his role in actively attempting to prevent an investigation into the source, especially at the early critical stage, cannot be.

Make no mistake, there is much at stake here and most of what's at stake revolves around funding. Should it come to pass that the virus WAS engineered then public sentiment (outrage) will be such that funding will dry up. The livelihoods of many researchers are at stake so they have a vested interest in NOT seeing any proof. Someone will eventually obtain a sample from that cave, just a matter of time.
