Wtf?

Okay, is anyone else suffering from Amazing Disappearing Submissions Syndrome here? Both of my submissions from the past two days have disappeared. And before that my public comments weren't appearing and my stories were not appearing in my profile.
It isn't my computer, because quite a few of my readers have mentioned something to me. What's going on?

davidwatts informed my that one of my stories wasn't in my profile. When I checked, it was there, so I don't really know. There do appear to be times when strange things happen. I've been 'seeing' wierd formatting of posts, others have said the same, then there's the missing or repeated paragraphs in posted stories.

PM Manu - he needs to know there's a glitch before he can fix it.

I edited my flawed Valentine's Day entry Hard and Soft.

The old version was replaced by the new improved washes-whiter version and then the new version vanished to revert to the old version.

24 hours later the old version had gone and the new one was back - and no it isn't the history settings on my computer.

Mine seem fine. The latest didn't appear in the profile at first, but they never do, not immediately. There's a lag.

I notice and mentioned this, the other day.

Imp's new story was up, but not showing on her story list on my bookmarked page. Even after refreshing. And when I finished reading, it told me I could be the first to post a comment, when I hit the button, there were 6 pcs already there, but when I hit the 'read'more' link, they all disappeared.

Okiedokie, Lit got back to me. They're doing some server tweaking to improve the site, which might be causing the problem, but they're going to look into it.
I imagine any problems will smooth out pretty soon, then.

Although...you know, I wasn't under the impression that Lit needed the kind of improvements one would get from server tweaking. I think it may be the only site I've been writing on that hasn't completely crashed for a good month or so.

It doesn't crash that I've seen, but it has s-l-o-w-e-d before, and there have been odd side effects. Much of the site has been completely replaced with new, too. The dude is good.

I've noticed this problem since late Saturday night. Stories that show up as newly approved in my list don't show up on my bio for another 24-48 hours. It has improved a tiny bit, but before Saturday, they would show up on my bio list as soon as I saw they were approved in my author area.

The new story index was slow to update for a couple of days as well. I figured they were probably either doing something or the Valentine's Day last minute entries caused a delay somewhere.
