Today my latest story was published, but instead of being in exhibitionist and voyeur like I'd asked, it was in taboo and incest.

The story is about two sister, one of whom goes naked all day to beat the heat, but there's zero sexual content and the whole thing is clearly centred around exhibitionism.

It's annoying as I once had a story rejected with the suggestion being that I move it to a different category, but as a purely E&V writer I'm annoyed it was just put into a category I don't want to be in for me.

Anyone know how to get it moved? I'd appreciate the help

Bear in mind that T/I is very much a trump category, so when a story contains even a small whiff of incest, it is likely that Laurel may override your choice and stick it there. Adding a clear note to admin that this is undesirable, with suitable justification, is the best way to prevent that from happening.

That said, I'm not entirely sure the move to T/I is isn't unjustified in your case. You say there is zero sexual content, but the exhibitionism part of E&V is clearly meant to be sexual, and if a character derives erotic titillation and enjoyment from teasing her sister with her nude body, then it definitely qualifies as a sexual relation between siblings, i.e., incest.

I agree that, from the sound of it, the presence of the sister is not incidental, but a central part of it. Could you have written the exact same story but with the other woman being an unrelated housemate (roommate)? If her being a sister is important, that seems taboo to me, though not actually incest.

I disagree, the whole being naked thing is being done to annoy the older sister, not get her off. I wouldn't mind too much but there's literally E&V stories about siblings actually engaging in sex acts which mine doesn't even hint at.

First, resubmit immediately as an edit, using the notes box to explain why.

Second, DM Laurel with what you have said here and ask for it to be changed ASAP.

The learning point for all of us here is that it's a good idea to use 'Pending' to verify that the category in which it's going to be published is what we wanted. (There's always that one-day period announcing when its going up.) I think I've caught two well-intentioned-but-no changes in time.

True that. Unfortunately, it is impossible to know when your story leaves the review queue and becomes Pending, so the only way to catch it in this state is to regularly refresh the list.

I don't get it man... It was rejected again today even with a long explanation, but then this was published on Exhibitionist and Voyeur this morning: https://www.literotica.com/s/lack-of-privacy

In the first half a page a dad watches his naked daughter give a blow job and then a brother and sister hug naked while skinny dipping. But somehow this is fine for exhibitionist and voyeur, while mine, with zero sex or sexual contact at all, has to go in incest?

If Laurel truly sees Incest as a trump category then she is very inconsistent about it. I've seen many mother-daughter stories in both lesbian and fetish category, stories that didn't have any trump fetish.

That doesn't mean you aren't right about Laurel's views. It just means that their application is absurdly inconsistent, which does align with some of the other Lit's rules.

If you want to enjoy your time here, you need to let go of the notion that Literotica's admins act fairly, diligently, and without bias.

Try to focus on the part of Lit experience that you do enjoy. It's the best advice anyone here can give you.

This happened to me once before. I wanted something in loving wives, but they put it in BDSM because there was a big scene involving spanking. It was a big moment for the characters, but the rest of the story didn't involve anything else that would make it BDSM. I just sent a message to the admins to request putting it into the correct category and in less than a week it was corrected. I'm not sure how long it will take for you, they get busy with their requests so sometimes they get to it fast or it takes some time to go through.

This isn't always the case. I've got three stories with incest sub-themes (a novel, a novella, and a shorter piece), but they're in my categories of choice - with agreement from Laurel. She added a note at the top, but they're where I wanted them to go.
