Writing wins

Ok, here’s a thread for your wins, big or small.

After writing a very intense and emotional intro to a new story, I was feeling drained and didn’t write for nearly a week. Last night I finally got back into it and got the next scene down. It feels like the story has momentum again after getting my characters through a very tense reunion.

What’s gone well for you lately?

I have those kind of swings, but my dry spells can last months. Story went up today I wrote off and on for over 2 years. Too many starts and stops to count. Getting it live on the site is a relief.

Now to figure out how to wrap the next one up. I think I'm 7/8 the way there, but kind of stuck on how to wrap it up. Started this one when I was stuck on the last one, but I don't have anything else to work on yet.

So Win: Story is live and getting good scores. Comments aren't as positive yet, but they seem to be in the minority based on views and stars.

I finished my Summer Lovin' entry with enough time to go back and proofread the whole thing, and naturally I caught a number of mistakes that otherwise would have been posted. I could get used to that!
