Does anyone else tend to write their erotica in the nude?

For me it started as I often write in bed, before I go to sleep, and I tend to write best when I'm at least slightly turned-on.

Now I rarely wear anything at all when I'm at my laptop, even if that's meant making a few hasty exits from the living room when my flatmate comes home earlier than expected!

If you've never tried it maybe have a go, it's meant to get the creative juices flowing.

In my bathrobe when on my desktop machine. My desk chair cushions are bungee cords and leave stripes on my butt if there isn't something thick 'tween me and it. Laptop? Yeah. Until it gets too warm with use, but that's usually a hint to take a break.

If I wake up before my boyfriend (he’s an annoyingly sound sleeper) then I sometimes write. But I normally wear panties and often a T-shirt or crop-top, when I sleep, so I’m not nude.

I have been known to remove some of these items after a bit.

Otherwise, I’m normally dressed.

I sometimes write in a cheerleader outfit or a very short skirt, to get me in the mood. I live what I'm writing about in my imagination as I type it in.
I am trans, so that works better than nudity for me.

No and not likely I will. We have two cats that are very sneaky and like to chase things that move.

Rarely. Sometimes I write on my phone in the tub, or I write immediately after a shower before getting dressed. Otherwise I'm almost always dressed. Unless writing on the toilet counts... because I do that constantly hehe

Word. I get enough accidental scratches (from Nice Cat) and non-accidental nips (from Elegant Cat) without making it easy for them.

Also, it's coming into winter here and insulation in Australian houses sucks. I'd freeze.

When I write I tend to “go pro” and take it seriously like it’s my job, therefore I’m in my normal work clothes.

Also as there are other people around I think if I did write nude I’d probably look like Terry Jones on the organ in Monty Python.
