I was looking at the Romantic Times Magazine website recently and found there Master Class On Writing page. I found it very informative and helpful, it not only makes sense for romance writing but also for other fictin as well. They have two separate courses one for the year 2001 and one for 2002 each with 12 separate titles. I just though I would pass this info along just on the off chance that anyone would like to read these lessons. I am not computer literate enough to put a link on here but if you put it into your main page search engine I'm sure you'll be able to find it. Just type in Romantic Times Magazine.

Story Teller,

Thank you so very much for the information. I'm going to have a look and see what they have to say on the subject.

There is a writing group I am involved with and we meet once a month not far from my home. I've learned some valuable tools of the trade and have met some wonderful people, both men and women, at the same time.

Thank you, again, for sharing this with us.

To save everyone sorting through the 366,000 hits google turns up: http://www.romantictimes.com/index.html?/g_writer/g1mc.shtml

I think it's important for new writers to realize that story-telling skills are NOT genre specific. Anyplace you can learn more about how to tell a story well, will usually apply to whatever genre you choose to write in.

Some story-tellingskills apply more to one genre than another. The tricks a mystery writer needs are not often required to write erotica, but knowing them will let you write a good erotic mystery if you want.
