So does anyone else work on their stories during spare time at work (say, during lunch?)

Personally I love the escape but have to admit it is hard not to get turned-on whilst having all these filthy creatures fornicating in my head.

But it is good for getting plot down to be fair (but less fun).

writing is far more enjoyable than work.

I'm currently trying to be a good girl, though. :cautious:

Depends on my day, of course, but the nature of my job does often leave me with a lot of free time, which I've used to either write, or waste time I'm the forum lol

I spend a substantial amount of time working from home, so when I'm at home I may spend time writing a story during a break, on my personal desktop computer. I never write Literotica stuff when I'm in the office. I separate my personal computers and phones from work computers and phones and never use the latter for personal activities. Plus, I never use a phone, period, for writing. Fumble fingers. I just don't like doing it.

It's good data hygiene is what it is. I'm the same.

Otherwise known as "Don't shit where you eat."

And expect any traffic on their network and equipment to be monitored and logged.

When I worked it, we used web tracking software that wasn't reviewed unless there was a request by a manager. But if you got your usage pulled, it showed everything you did.

Also, fun fact, modern copiers have hard drives in them and they save every print and copy job to that hard drive. Those jobs can be easily retrieved by techs if needed.

The writing itself is no trouble. It's the reading out loud (as part of the editing process) or leaving a draft in the shared printer tray that poses difficulties.

It’s the lip biting, seat squirming and blushing like a fool for me… if anyone pays attention to me, it’ll be no secret what I’m reading or writing. I’ve given up trying to write anything that isn’t platonic story telling at work, steamy has to wait until I’m home and alone! 🫣

Yeah, I use my phone for the writing part (personal, not works) and there’s no way I’d use any works equipment for this.

I’m terms of the seat-squirming, etc, when I feel that way I just move to writing plot points and story.

Everybody cums…I MEAN WINS!

I spend a lot of the week working from home, and I haven't been given much to do in the last few months, so yeah... I've been writing a lot during the day. When I'm in the office, I make notes about plot points on my phone. I'm very paranoid about monitoring (long story), so I don't even connect to the office wifi.

I've done it in class but not at work. Don't have a cushy office job where I can be on my phone or a computer without getting yelled at.

I've been at it now for a few weeks using my phone and a bluetooth keyboard and it's been a unique experience. Since fixing errors is time consuming and requires me to handle the phone, I just let them go. And since I've decided NOT to use the time on previously started WIPs, I've been just playing with story ideas that aren't as well fleshed out in my mind. Because of this the writing has been more stream of consciousness than anything I've done before.

I've found it to be quite enjoyable.

I can't write unless it's in a quiet place, so no. I often mull ideas at work but it's months since I wrote and I'm too busy doing other things
