Nice detective work, but no award for you :D

First and formost I would like to say I am by NO means trying to spam. I am however, actively seeking writers for quality fetish content to be posted on my website.
I have read and been very impressed with some of the stories produced here and am seeking writers interested in a one time publication to long term work with benefits. Please PM me for details.
Thanks!
Meg :D

What struck me when I read this post the first time is that it seems, well, lazy. If you have found authors you enjoy, why not PM them? The story side of Lit also allows you to find other similar stories, so you could search out other authors.

That and I agree with LB that it just seems, IDK, impolite to solicit authors from a respected site for your own site. It also came across as lazy that you didn't investigate this community better to have a greater understanding of why your generalized fish net approach would be offensive.

Certainly, you are free to feel attacked by what people are saying. But everyone else is equally free to call you out for an approach that isn't really acceptable here, IMHO.

Odd...when I click on your profile, evilthought, it says "Join Date: 4-29-2011." ImOnIt's point appears correct despite your attempt at misdirection.

Oh for crissake.

Look guys, you can flag the post for Etoile's consideration if you think it violates terms.

I've actually PM'd her. I love the Lit forums but I don't put my stories here because they are too queer. I would like a different venue.

Does my PM'ng her mean that she's going to get my best work for free? Not necessarily. We haven't talked that far yet.

Chill out dudes.

Agree. I also see 4-30-2011 when I check the join date. Maybe that changes, depending on what part of the world you are in when you check it?

And when looking for good police, don't you find them in cities that have good police? When looking for drunk chicks on a Saturday night, don't you find them in bars let women in for free an hour before the men get in, as well as lube them up with free drinks? And when looking for a woman you might want to marry, don't you shy away from these bars?

Why is it we always go for the jugular, when someone new comes in with less than 10 posts? I'll agree that trolls usually have less than 10, usually less than 5, but I also know you don't acquire multiple posts easily. Lit stopped people from doing that a few years back with the "...you must wait 30 seconds before posting again" thing. We used to have threads that people created just to get rid of their "virgin" status.

I'm not trying to be all holier than thou, or whatever, but why chase someone away with vinegar when you might actually enjoy where she spreads the honey. Honestly, have you seen pics of her? If that's actually her, I wish I were a male sub! Nah...I enjoy my dominant side way too much.

So, I agree...chill out dudes and dudettes!

I think the problem I had is that the OP did not take the time to recognize the details she gave only after there were some objections were things she should have said initially. Her first few posts in this thread really come across as trolling for personal wank fodder.

I don't think the OP violates the forum rules per se so I didn't think it was worth flagging. But I did feel as if the OP didn't take the time to know the community very well and it came across that she initially wanted to just poach off of Lit. I, too, spent way to long getting the general hibbie geebies from other sites and feel, IDK, a certain protectiveness about Lit and what it does provide.

While the OP did later apologize for coming across wrong, taking time to get to know the lay of the land would have been more respectful. In my mind, when you ask people to consider giving you their work for free, you should be respectful. Me, personally, I lurked here for a few months before ever even creating a user name and tried to understand how the community operated before I started posting. She may not have the time to invest doing that since it sounds like she's getting a blog started.

I agree it's difficult to build up a post history; but I disagree everyone should have "chilled" because it's not difficult to spend a little time approaching it better.

Honestly, I am not a big forum posted or reader. I was referred here and had the stories a quick look over. I liked them and I suppose I jumped the gun in asking b/c I really do NOT know forum edict...

What I am looking for are short stories pertaining to women abusing men financially, or taking advantages of men etc. Also physical acts of domination. Fantasies, the pov of a male sub and his mind set while in the act. Maybe regrets, or hidden wishes. My site is pretty heavily trafficked and you could link and sign your stories or linking back here, being anon, etc.
Whatever you want to do. I would just like to add a little quality read for my viewers.

Also some true subs get a rush writing about their fantasies and experiences. This would be a good outlet for you. Or as stated, just enjoy writing.

If I write that stuff-- I would have to make money off of it. It sure doesn't turn me on, but I could use the income.

Maybe they will compensate you with all the used books from your favorite bookstore and all the latte's you can consume in... well they are pricey so an hour.

You know there is nothing outwardly wrong here but it does just seem a little strange gut instinct sort of thing. I suppose however she should get points for an honest solicitation rather than trying to steal stories like other sites do.

I wasn't asking you, lovecraft. I was telling Ms. Meg.

No need to speculate, worry, or yap.

I gathered what set most off was there is a specific forum rule about promoting other sites via Literotica (unless they want to pay advertising fees), which by coming here and asking for people from the forum to offer their writing to the OP to use on their site, is doing just that, albeit in a round about way.

6. Any post or PM made with the intent of promoting another site or a product will be removed. Spam is strictly forbidden. You may not send unsolicited PM's or emails to other users trying to promote other websites or products. Literotica is not a place to promote other websites, and we are very strict on this issue. If you abuse this policy, you will be banned. If you persist, your ISP will be contacted.

In my time as moderator, such threads were removed or at least referred to the site to check. Lit has built up their site over time, and it is a bit rude for others to then take the lazy road by trying to poach Lit writers to use for content on their site. I could be worng of course, but I am assuming they do not want Lit writers because they are so bad and will not attract an audience to their new site.

"poaching writers...."

We are a little bit more self-willed than fish or rabbits, and we are not Lit's property. Never were.

I send writers TO lit, from other sites. I suggest better venues for writers who are not finding their audience here.

There's no fences around the internet.

Roald Dahl wrote that you can only poach a fish or rabbit that you have stolen in the dead of night.

Otherwise it's just simmered in liquid (not nearly as good)

My one and only criticism to the OP is that she was not up-front about the nature of the site for which she is looking for stories. You can now see the link in her profile, but when she posted the thread, it was not there.

It is a Financial Dominatrix site, as such it is meant for profit. Nothing wrong with that at all. But if she was looking for writer, it should be a paid gig.

However if she is simply looking for more "clients" aka sub male willing to write for her as a tribute (or on top of one), than it gets pretty close to the TOS line.

Well, my concern is: can I write the stuff convincingly?

And, can I get paid for it.

If I can write it well, I will write for pay-- or not write it. Cause it doesn't get me off otherwise.

wait, isn't that the point?

I had the same thought. Someone who is bragging about a $1,000.00+ per day income from useless financial submissives should (IMO) be willing to pay top dollar for well written content - fictional or otherwise.

well, yeah. On the other hand if she is willing to pay, you can hardly call it "poaching."

Didn't she say the link on her profile is just a link to her blog? Scroll up and see. I am sure she has many other sites. A little google "search" reveals that the link in her profile is just a mirror to her live-journal blog.

http://meggerzprincess.livejournal.com/

I am sure that's not what she is referring as "the" site.
