Writer's Sign-in

Writing under another pen I find it frustrating when a fellow player leaves for an extended period of time without warning. Of course we all have real lives but I thought this place could be one where writer's "sign out" as a curtesy to other players.

For example:

Eric signing out until 7 pm est

Eric on vacation until 3-3-02


This will give reader's and writer's alike the curtesy of knowing if there thread will be recieving any responses.

Excelent Idea

This is a wonderful idea and I plan to use it as often as possible as yes it is frustrating not knowing if you should wait around for a response or go to bed.

So here goes...

A wonderful idea, but I think you should sign out ON THE THREADS you play in, not here. That way it's easier for readers and other posters of each particular thread.

And times should be in GMT because not all posters live in the US, example: me.

I don't think signing IN is necessary. We can all see on the boards who is active.

Another thing: Only SIGN OFF if you plan to be away for MORE THAN 24 or 48 HOURS. It would be confusing the thread to find lots of post about signing in and out. LOL
