To all the writers on this board, I am announcing my availability to edit manuscripts.

If it's a story meant for Literotica readers, no charge.

If it's a manuscript destined for eventual publication, then there is a charge. Don't worry, I charge a flat fee, not per word. Depends on the length of the story.

I will treat your manuscript with the utmost discretion. I will edit for grammar, sentence structure, punctuation, spelling and proper verb tense.

If you're interested, send me a Private Message.

There is a forum just for editors and writers. You might try over there.

i love sending my unpublished manuscripts to random strangers on the internet and paying them to read it. what could possibly go wrong?

I will beat the OPs price by 50% if you include self-n00dies.

If that's a sample of your editing skills, I strongly recommend that all writers take a pass on your services.

Can you turn wrenches?

Actually yes, this is meant to be just that. I used contractions properly, all the words are spelled correctly, and all the verbs are in the proper tense.

Hmmm yes, and you might try telling the person who is posting all the political bullshit to take their posts to Fox News.

This is the General Board forum of Literotica. It is the proper place for political threads.

The Editors Forum was created to be a place where editors and authors in search of an editor could meet. If you want to be Lit editor, that is the place to go.

There is a Literotica Volunteer Editor list, but it is far out of date and most people on the list are no longer active. If you want to edit for Lit authors, go to the editor forum and offer your services there. If you are in a hurry, respond to a request for an editor.

And yet your prose has the flow of an empty dumpster tumbling down a mountainside. Was your Wernicke's Area struck by a cosmic ray, to leave you so syntactically straightjacketed? What gives you the audacity to pose as an editor?

Or is this all merely a ploy to peep horny writings by nubiles online.

As your editor, I should inform you that DumpsterTM is a trademark, so it needs capitalization and the TM symbol.

don't be so bloody rude.

a mod offered you sound advice - if you had any brains you'd have already looked at the forums to assess which would best suit your advertisement. unless you chose this one simply with the intent of garnering views for your own writes.

whilst your editorial skills might lift many story subbers from the depths, most the writers frequenting the general board have self-editorial skills that exceed those you display here.

p.s choosing not to use capitals is not the same as not understanding how to. just putting that out there ;)

imma guessin' that's a rhetorical question, given there's no q-mark

As a strategy, it is a good one, but this guy is fishing in a dishpan.

Until I became a Lit editor, I had no idea what stark ignorance about the male body resided in young women's heads.

FYI - "proper verb tense" and "sentence structure" is part of "grammar".

The fact that you believe each to be a distinct component of proper writing makes me scream in horror.

I think, but might be mistaken, that what he meant was people posting political threads in the AH. There are far more than there should be over there, mostly with the excuse "They're too mean over in the GB"

But having said that he is advertising across the board so this is just another stop.

Was that supposed to be sarcastic? If so, thanks for the comic relief.

But don't believe me, look at some of the stories on the site for yourself and look at how badly written they are from technical point. Yes, I know, some of our fellow writers are not from the United States but the ones that post in English should know how to write properly. Sorry, it's a thing I have. I hate to see bad english composition. My teacher taught me well LOL.

I'm critiquing your writing as reflective of your ability as editor. Yes, yours is better than many, but if we're being honest, it leaves a lot to be desired.

The latter is especially troubling given that you expect people to pay for likely sub-standard editing.

You should sue that teacher.

And how exactly is that "troubling"? You're not paying me any money.

And people who think they already know everything about writing has a lot to learn, they just won't open their minds to it. I surely don't.

BTW - I have 11 PUBLISHED books out. Not Literotica, but out for public consumption. Not saying I know everything about writing, but I think that qualifies me to edit other writers' work, especially if it's destined for publication.
