Writers Circle?

Did I hear my name mentioned?

Dear OP, please come on by the coffee shop. We don't usually bite unless you ask nicely or grab the last donut. ;)

Where can I find said coffee shop? I might grab the last donut but I’d bring extra goodies to munch on! I love to bake and coffee. 😁

Yeah, someone else was wondering how to meet other writers and just hauled off and asked. Go Casiyessie!

I've always tended to the paranormal in my reading and writing tastes.

New two? This is great. Busy day here and welcome

I’ve been mixing horror with erotica it’s pretty fun to write when you stray from the normal.

I've had it suggested to me that posting in sections other than the Personals would be the way to gain some 'street cred' among potential writing partners/correspondents, and especially of the opposite sex.

I feel this is actually counter-intuitive and, in some ways, a bit back door and sly.

Surely a 'personal' is an open and honest way of stating up front exactly what you're looking for, no..? People can take up the option or not, according to how they feel, but at least they then have no grounds for saying 'oh, well, I didn't realise you were actually looking for a correspondent'.

Let's be honest: as it is, print on a screen is a medium which almost falls over itself to convey wrong impressions and erroneous takes on things. It needs no help from people thinking they have to all but hide their real intentions...

You and me both ... but then again, paranormal and horror have much in common :D

Reminds me to write that autobiography ...

You do that, young lady, and I'll follow you, armed with my camera.
That said, I do have some familiarity with S&W model 10, 6 inch, .357mag.

PS. I thought shotguns did not need any form of "sights".

If you're shooting slugs you do.

And I really don't want to stick my head into the personals to "meet" new people. It's hard to get the grease and stench of desperation out of my clothes :)

Hey! I’ve done multiple personals and usually find it very fun!

I’m fine with being hit on or talking about writing.

That’s true! Is there a personals for that? I’d enjoy reading through that if it offered the possibility of finding the right match :)

No 'personals' section for that, as far as I can see. Just 'personals', full stop. Yes, not very satisfactory but there you go.

This WAS my shotgun:

Burney 3.45 inch recoilless.

Just don't stand behind me...

This was the one I practiced on when I was in the Air Force...
