Write, Write, and Write

Somebody said that was the three most important things to do to become a better writer. I think they may have a point. I have enjoyed writing and posting here for the last four years, and I think the act of writing has made me a better writer

The editors and fellow writers here have offered advice and encouagement to me as needed. Reading the post of some of the authors here helped me to understand what I was trying to do, and helped me see how to do it through their examples.

Writing at any level is good for the mind and soul I think. Good or bad dosen't matter as long as there is improvement. I could name names but I won't, but I do want to offer you my thanks for taking the time to give me a hand when I needed it. I am a high school drop-out but your help gives me the tools I need to become the writer I want to be.


down the road I will pay you back by helping someone else like myself. Your kindness will live to help another.

I would add to that advice that you should also read as much as possible. It's hard to find the time, but it's time well spent.

I do read, a lot

I find I am in to all forms of escapism, Books, movies, drugs and writing. I enjoy them all. I have a harder time with reality.
