Different methods work for different authors. Whatever works for you is good.

Amen to that Ogg! I have to let stories sit for several days if not a week or more before I go do the second draft and then again for the third. I know that wouldn't work for everyone, but it is what works for me. Makes me slower than a Mississippi politician at writing though.

That's how I always treated college papers. Lay the bones, make the points, then go back to fill it in and meet the page count.


It's been a year or so since I last drank, but this thread has me thinking of picking up a bottle of Riesling at the state store (fuckin' PA) tomorrow. When you live alone, it's perfectly acceptable to drink wine from a juice glass, right?

A glass? Yes. Even if it says Coca-Cola or Bud Lite on it.

The wine bottle? No.

A plastic wine bottle? Never!
