I just read today that Killer Kowalski died. He was 81
He had a massive Heart Attack and they pulled the plug on him 12 days after, he was on life supports.
This is for the older wrestling fans. Hell, I saw him in person a number of times when I lived in Detroit. A Mean SOB

I remember seeing him on TV a few times when I was a kid. Yeah... he was a mean S.O. B. -- what a guy! R.I.P., Killer.

In the Fifties, my family and I used to watch pro wrestling twice a week. Dick the Bruiser was one of our favorites, even though he was classed as a villain. Later, he dropped the first part of his name and was known as The Bruiser. I never saw Killer Kowalski back then; he just never happened to be in that part of the country or, at least, was never on TV when we were watching it.

That photo that includes Bruno Sammartino might be misleading. Bruno was always a good guy, and never would have used a chair like that, unless he was goaded into it by a bad guy such as the Killer.

I've seen him on TV when WWE had stories on him. He seemed like a great man RIP Killer, Wrestling will never forget you
