Just got done watching Wrestlemania and I was pretty impressed with the way it turned out. All the wrestlers put their hearts out in the ring and got the job done.

Now here's something to talk about....No Way Out...April 17, 2003....Goldberg.

Are we talking about the one that was in the Seattle area this weekend..... holy damn I didn't realize that many people were into it out here. The traffic has been absolutely *terrible* these last 2 days. Yikes.

Re: Re: Wrestlemania

Er ya, I knew that. Hit the 1 by accident, lol. I am so watching that to see who he first goes after.

Bah, that Wrestlemania didn't hold up to the hype it was given. Quite a few miscues and idiotic commentary, mainly by Michael Cole, who seems to think people don't know what happened in the past. Cole " I believe thats the first time anyone has kicked out of the Angle Slam." Name me someone who hasn't kicked out of it who is main event status. Cole said the same of Angle kicking out of the F-5, and there are at least 3 people I remember who have kicked out of that. And Brock and his 'hurt' ribs *Phish* he was grabbing so low it looked more like his ass got fucked raw instead of his ribs being hurt. Also that back flip was awful, he's lucky he didn't snap his neck.

Overall it was an ok event but not near as good as 10 or 11 other Wrestlemania's.

Oh, and Goldberg coming to the WWE... Exiled from wrestling my ass, he just wasn't tough enough for Ultimate fighting so he is crawling back to something much safer.

Well truth be told I was getting tired of Michael Cole who sounded like he was losing his voice. And ya, brock is very lucky he didn't fuck himself up real bad on that move. Maybe he did, because he was bleeding from his nose after it. But the other matches were well done.

Yeah, I noticed the bleeding nose too. If he is lucky all he got was a concussion.

Most of the other matches were good too but they all ran too long. Instead of having like 8-9, 20 minute matches they could cut some down instead and allow more people a chance to wrestle. The pay-per-views have changed quite alot in the past 2 years.

On a another note... Survior Series should go back to its original format instead of being just another PPV. They would do alot better putting back the teams of 4 going against each other.

Ya, I'm kinda sad to see Beniot in a tag team back, because he is an EXCELLENT single's wrestler.

That would be great if they do, I remember the matches they used to have like, world vs the usa and what not. Way back in the day.

On yet another note, they are getting rid of king of the ring this year too.

I am listening to a wrestling radio program thats on Every Wekk in Canada and it says that Brock had to be helped to the back by 5 guys.

Ya I don't doubt it, looks like he really fucked himself over with that move.

I was thinking to myself what the fuck was he thinking trying that....

I yelled holy fuck,,,,,

He has probably been praticing(sp?) because angle does the same move every so often. And he figured, Wrestlingmania - the granddaddy of them all, so what the hell, I'll try it and hope it works...guess it didn't work.

No shit?? What the fuck is wrong with the company nowadays. Next thing ya know the Royal Rumble will be gone next year and the 20th Wrestlemania won't be a celebration of the past like I hope it will be. It seems to me that the WWE wants to forget about the past two decades like they forgot all about the time before the WWE was global and it was nothing but a regional promotion known as the WWWF.

They gonna have separate PPV's for the Raw and Smackdown brands

Did Angle hurt himself in the match? and what was the main event? if it was Hogan Vs. McMahon I'll be really pissed

I never liked the old Survivor Series format, I enjoyed the King of the Ring when they had 3 matches for the tournament on the show, but with the whole brand extension shit they're gonna get rid of it, making it the first RAW pay per view

Nah, Angle wasn't hurt. The main event was Brock vs Angle...well that was the last match anyways.

Ya, the 3 matches in 1 night were cool, not 2 tho.

How come you weren't there Freaky?

Oh Jesus fucking Christ. This brand shit is getting old quick. And now they are doing away with more and more older PPV's, see what I meant by wanting to forget the past.

My son was at Wrestlemania tonight.

lucky him! how come he didn't invite me? :p

Wrestlemania 17 was in houston, and living in san antonio at the time (about five hours away) my cousin and I wanted to go for our senior year in high school, but we couldn't get enough money in time, and we figured it wouldn't be that good anyway. she ended up seeing it on pay per view at a friend's house, and she said it wasn't too great, but I have it on DVD and God Damn, best show I've ever seen. Regrets regrets lol

I was afraid Brock would have fucked up a move and paralyzed Angle. Good thing he's ok.

I don't know why the hell they brought Goldberg in, I doubt people even know who he is anymore, when the other WCW guys showed up most the audiences were like "who in the hell are those guys?" and Goldberg's been out of the U.S. limelight for damn near two years now

I always thought the brand extension was a bad idea, I like Smackdown but Raw is just terrible, doesn't help that Triple H just got handed the title instead of having at least one match for it.

the separate brand PPV's can only mean bad news, because you can't have a 3 hour show filled up with only Raw or Smackdown guys only, just wouldn't work

I won't tell you that he got to meet the wrestlers last night at their hotel.. and I won't tell you his cheap tickets were upgraded to floor passes with back stage passes either. ;)
