I'm pretty sure that's typical of any SOTU.
I watched one Obama SOTU out of curiosity, and don't remember ever watching another until Tuesday. I think Trump is improving as a speaker, I believe I severely underestimated his love of country, and the way he taunted the Democrats when he pitched ideas he knew they would support if only a Democrat was up their talking, making little motions urging them to get up an applaud, amused me to no end. The guy was cracking me up.
I'm not sure how this presidency thing is going to pan out, but I'm liking him more and more all the time and I'm kind of regretting I never tuned in to that show he was on before he got into politics.
