Did anyone else notice? I only just saw just now when I clicked on a link to Svenskaflicka's stuff - now instead of just giving the title and description it gives the category, the date of submission, the "H" or "E" and...and...well that might be all, but COOL!!

Oh my freaking gawd.

At first I thought it was great, but now it's just murder on my self-deprecating modesty. It'll definitely help the readers out so I'm all for it. But just oh my freaking gawd. I'm completely embarrassed now.

okay so now I have a question just for you, KM, if you ever come back to this thread ;)

What's the "audio submissions" up at the top? I see The Willow there, and I also see The Willow in your story list. but in my profile, for instance, all my audio submissions are kept hidden in the story section...???

All of my audio except for the audio poem which lingers within the poetry category rather than the audio area, was submitted prior to February 2001 when the Big L updated everything via email and did it manually. I image that's got a lot to do with it, but I have no idea.

This is SO cool! Just the way I wanted it! Now people can see immediately what type of story this or that is, and how popular it is!:nana:

She went to look at MY page... *squirming with pride*

Very cool! I remember a while ago someone suggested this, but I didn't realize Laurel was actually going to do it. Nice for someone like me who writes in two very different categories that usually don't appeal to the same viewers.

It's also a lot easier to check out everybody on the boards stuff, at least in relationship to categories and all those pretty little colored letters. :p

Now add a couple of "Sort By" buttons, and it'd be a browser's paradise.

(The date submitted is VERY cool!)

I like it. But I discovered something...I received a little blue W. Isn't that for the writer's critic awards? Hmmm I didn't even know it was submitted for the contest. Well I think it may have been for the first one but I'm a bit clueless at times. I know it didn't win then. Any help directing Me where I can see just how I got it would be very greatly appreciated.

By the way I am honored just perplexed lol.

It is hard to find this out sometimes. I didn't know I won for Jan 2003 until a reader congratulated me on it.

You won the Reader's Choice Award for the best celebrity story of 2002. Here's the link Literotica Author's Awards for 2003, The Best of 2002. You can find a complete list by following the Author's Awards heading on the Story Index page.

Belated congratulations.

Jayne

Thank you Jayne, but that wasn't the chapter that won an award. Hmm is there another reason perhaps? Somewhere? lol. Well either way thank you and I am still honored and perplexed lol.

Anyone prepared to do a little work can get a list in chronological order of submission. Go the main Erotic Story and Picture Index, scroll down to 'Search The Site', choose 'Search Stories' and then search by author name. Et voila!

I just did it on my own and it reminds me that, apart from a couple of shorts in the 'Snippettsville 600' thread, I haven't submitted anything since December last!

Well, seeing there isn't a little W next to the chapter that did win the award, it's clearly a mix-up from Laurel. You should PM her and have the W tranferred to chapter 2. Either way, congrats. :D

AdK, that's an excellent idea, but unfortunately it doesn't work with all submissions, only with stories.

I thought something was different! My goodness. Like Muffin, I'm a little embarrassed (but loving it! <g>)

Woohoo Catagories listed!

I for one am VERY happy the catagories are there now. Some people have catagories that just don't do it for them. I have worried for a while, almost to the point of having put a story under a differant name, about people reading my more romantic softer stuff and then finding my icky serious story and being upset since there isn't a -real- warning what catagory it is in. I mean I started the story with a warning and all. With the catagories listed on the authors page I think its alot easier for people to find what they like as well as avoid that which creeps them out.

I missed that, but then I only have one entry in the poetry category, and that's best forgotten.
