I know.. free speech and all, and well.. not actually stating that the victim is under 18 makes it better and all, but isn't this site making enough money without it.. just a thought ... there are other sites that cater to the pervs

Stories are just that, stories. It's fantasy. It's not reality. Lit's statistics reflect that it's a normal and popular area of imagination for adults.

One of the most prevelant fantasies is incestuous. Most people have fantasies that they never act on or would never dream of acting on. Perversion is a subjective thing. The site owners choose not to decide what is perverted or not, but merely keep away things that are illegal. Child pornography is it.

They don't make money off the site.

Learn to spell, capitalize, use grammar and punctuation, and then learn to back up your arguments with facts not your own opinion. I was abused as a child, had nothing to do with incest stories. Now that I'm an adult it still has nothing to do with incest stories.

Move to Utah, literotica is illegal there because it's pornography. It's more than missionary style sex between safely married heterosexual couples, so it's perverted. You'll be happier.

Why does incest automatically get lumped in with child abuse? I mean, yes it happens. Yes it's horrible. No I wouldn't bang my brother or my dad.

But hey if someone wants to bang their dad (Or fantasize about it) who the hell am I, or you to say they can't?

Just to get some representation from the guys...

One of the greatest science fiction writers of all time, Robert Anson Heinlein, featured incest in MANY of his novels. I was never particularly interested in any of my close relatives, but I will confess to fantasizing about a cousin, or two... but, then again, I am from the South...

Seriously, though, the threads enable us to safely pretend to experience things that we would never do in 'real life.' I'm sorry that some of the concepts and situations disturb you, but you do have the choice not to read them. Frankly, some of the threads disturb me, too, but I just avoid them. We are all adults here (or damn well better be! Oy! You underage troller! Get out of here before we call your parents!), and have to respect each other enough to allow them the freedom to do as they will, for here it really does hurt no one.

I have spent little time exploring this site so I'm not sure if this is already in place but does the site state clearly the policy of why these are allowed here?

And/or, is there a disclaimer anywhere or a statement saying "we do not approve of nor condone...." anything along these lines?

Coggie... I would imagine that "we" neither condone nor disapprove of stories of incest, rape, beastiality or other acts of "perversion."

We're not talking about real life actions here, we're talking about make believe for grown ups.

If people don't want to read it, then they needn't click the link for the incest section, sneekily labled "Incest."

I think there's something wrong with having disclaimers against activities of the mind. It feels a little 1984 to me.
