whats up everyone, I've been a member a while, but I never posted

I'm starting a site (it reviews sex info products sold on the web) and I want to give a free report away to the visitors. I'd really like feedback on the report itself and the things mentioned in the report. I'm not sure whether I can post the rapidshare link or not, so if you want to proofread it send me a pm

A free report on what? Reliable info on sexuality is available at no charge all over the web; what does your report have to offer that's not easily attained elsewhere?

I'm not sure how many volunteers you're going to get for this, considering it sounds like a site that competes with Lit's toy store at least. People happily volunteer to edit stories, and sometimes will give feedback on academic essays and such, but those projects (presumably) better the writers and members of this community.

Honestly, it sounds like you're trying to get work out of this community without putting anything into it. If you were an established member, or at least participated beyond asking for help on your commercial site that sells the same category of goods as Lit's store, I'm guessing the members would be more likely to offer their feedback.

ahh, my site is an affiliate site. It will sell things like ebooks or provide a link to buy books on amazon. The report is on the cul-de-sac and the deep spot (AFE zone)

As far as participating in the community, I've always wanted to write but I'm no good at it, any tips?

Thanks for replying

So, why not write up your report as a How To story, use our volunteer editing system and post it in the How To story section of the main site? You can certainly post it on your site as well (since authors retain the rights to their work, even if it's published here), or give a summary with a link to the Lit story.

You don't have to write stories to participate here. You could contribute to the forums. Plenty of people don't write much or anything at all in terms of stories/poetry, but contribute to various discussions on the board. Contributing your time and knowledge in some way can help you foster relationships, which will give you people to turn to when you need something like feedback on a non-Lit piece, or even just a sounding board for a personal matter that you don't want to put out in public.

:)
