Meeting new people is always interesting - especially if you can exchange and compare life experiences.

Add in the extra thrill and stimulation of someone you’ve chatted with on Lit and it feels like something too good to pass on.

What happens from there may vary, but starting with some coffee and adding a little spice could be fun.

I have met, always the 1st time to get to know each other. There is something about the anticipation and excitement meeting for the 1st time, even if for coffee. We all have something built up in our minds after numerous conversations online, sometimes it is pretty accurate, other times it's not the ideal fit. I look at it as harmless fun where nobody gets hurt or threatened, if it works out then great, if not sometimes it remains good chat buddies. Maybe in today's generation there is more pressure to jump in bed on 1st meet, I guess I'm old school in that respect.

There are several lovely ladies and a few guys too - on Lit that I would love to meet for a coffee. Sadly geography makes it impossible to have a definite "date" so it's just a fantasy.

Obviously for anything else to come out of the date, there would have to be a spark - and probably a few more coffee or lunch dates first.

If anyone is interested, I'm in the Yorks and Humber area, run my own business and could tell Mrs KV it's a "business trip"

I did meet someone from Lit about 15 years ago for tea (I don't drink coffee). It went so well we meet each other several times.

I wouldn't mind having that experience again.
