I am sooooo afraid of heights. Really I am. I cant sit in a bleacher even without freaking out. Anything over 7 foot and, ughh I wanna puke thinking about it.


Plus it means I dont have to clean the gutters...

I am afraid of heights too - which was really tough to deal with when I was in Alaska climbing up 50 foot antenna towers to adjust the aim of the antenna.

But I have flown all of my life (my father is a pilot) and being in an aircraft is different than being up on a ladder, even when looking down. Once the earth is far away it isn't any big deal - it would be like looking at the moon; you aren't afraid of heights when you look at the moon are you?

My problem is my ears; I injured them in the military and now I get motion sickness very easily. I am sure I would get sick and stay sick once I was weightless. They don't call the weightless training plane the "Vomit Comet" for nothing.

would I have fears? yes, would I do it yes. How could you not. It would be a once in a lifetime chance. What a rush it would be to go.
