Leave lit for good?

I mean personally, I can't imagine it. But some here have.

Do you think you will 'outgrow' this place or loose interest or just get to busy. If you suddenly 'get a life' will you forget all about your 'virtual friends' here on lit?

Or are you only pretending to like us, until you meet some-one better:eek:

i imagine that one day, when i grow up, i will leave lit for good. though, i cant see it happening any time soon. im, sure it will

For good?

Nah. I'll always be into porn. I might not be a regular poster, but I'll probably peek in every now and again and see what's going on.

I left Lit for 5 and a half months last year. RL intervened and I just didn't feel like coming here really.

However, if I hadn't come back, then I wouldn't have had as much support through this shiteness. So such is the lesson - Leave, and it'll be the worse for you!

I don't think I'll leave totally...but, even now, there are stretches of days...weeks...months...when I am barely in evidence 'cept in the handful of forums and threads that I like to stay in touch with...

But, you never know...

One day someone might give me an idea about some other place and I may go for a visit and find a bunch of people to relate with even closer than some of y'all...not that I think it's likely, mind you, this place has some of the most interesting people I've come across since I left local BBSes behind to venture into the national and international venues provided by the wondrous web...<smile>

No, really...<g>

I have nothing to be pissed off with, I take or leave, and respect, good, ill, sarcastic remarks. Maybe I might be too busy, I hope having fun, working, sex . . . but will always, at least in the immediate year, post one thing or another whether that be fun and directed, off the wall embarrassing, futile, a word, some advice, or feel good. Eventually, we will all go, but, it can be fun an fiesty as it lasts?

:D

I can't see it happening in the near future.

Too many people here I enjoy talking with and listening to. They're different enough to learn things from and similar enough that they don't grate.

I've left two forums I once enjoyed, and both for the same reasons. Too many trolls, endless flame wars, no moderation and more importantly, no ignore function. They stopped being fun so I left.

I think it will be a long time before Lit stops being fun.

And I don't have a life and likely never will, so that will never interfere.

Gauche: Don't go.

Unfortunately I've rarely seen anyone last beyond 2 and a half years on Lit. Mainly because I've been here for 2 and a half years and the only person I remember from before who's still here is Weird Harold.

Seriously, I can't imagine being here much longer. Nothing to do with any forum matters, just moving on with life. I don't see myself writing more erotica and it seems I post mainly for fun but that's not enough.

You asked.

Well, shit. Gonna miss you, p.

We would like everyone to stay and never leave because we like them and we've become online friends with them. But the fact of the matter is people come and go out of your life all the time, and though it's a sadder place without them, we always manage to find our joy in others who come along.

I almost wish I had never asked!

This is just too sad!!!!

Maybe some day I will leave after all... when all the old gang is gone, it may loose some of it's magic.

What? why?!

I'll see if my brewing Valentine story gets anywhere near written first, (competition or no) so it won't be for a while.

Whew!

Dodged a bullet there...

for a minute anyway.

Next question, when you guys leave, you're gonna leave you're stories up right?

Except for one, which you will have to pay good money to read in novel form if everything pans out.

Not to make the inebriated bloke blush, but I think it'd be a fucking shame if Gauche left Lit. without having won one fucking contest.

I'm not one to ever say never, but I could see disappearing for a while.

This place has become very long on silliness and noise and regretfully short on content worth reading, so I'm already spending less time here. I could see at some point just not having much in common with most of the people on the AH, in which case I'd probably just fold it up and move out for a while.

Sure, I think I might leave it eventually. I can certainly understand why people do leave. For me, I think it's a phase and I also think that I have a bit of an AH habit. :D

When I am here, it is like being at a bar; I crave beer and cigarettes. I don't regularly keep beer around the house and I don't smoke, but I sit here and I start thinking that 1:30am isn't too late to run to Cumberland Farms for beer and cigs. I say, no beer, no cigs, I'm going to bed…but I'm just going to check the board one more time…

Luck,

Yui

I realized that when I say Lit, I generally *really* mean the AH.

yui, I can really relate when you say:
