I've seen some weird, wonderful and creative names on lit. I pulled these from the favourites list:
I look at lit names and get a first impression from them, just like if I was meeting someone. (just before posting this, I checked, and herlittlepiggy has some d/s themes (right) and is male (wrong))
A few times I have read the name wrong (yeah, may just go for that eye check
), and about 6 months later, I realise it, and think, wow, that makes sense now. Other times, I continue to think of them what I originally thought there name was, because I have formed an identity in my mind.
Given that I place some emphasis on lit names (but one of many things that make up the whole), have you ever reconsidered your lit name? (I'm not talking alts). If so, what did you consider changing your lit name too? Does your lit name say more or less about you than you think? Why did you decide your lit name? Am I ranting and in need of another drink?
Me - I never gave my lit name any thought. It was a 2 or 3 second thing when joining. It's been so long now I couldn't be bothered changing, and I really wouldn't know what to change it to. Plus, is it kind of like hotmail or realestate around here - kind of hard to get the name you want?
