Very interesting, well writen, and a great take on things.

If i were to offer any advice, the tone may be a bit hyperbolic, but it's part of the writing style and i'm not sure if the story would be as effective without it.

The tone is purposely hyperbolic, I do like large things in large amounts personally, but I leave actual measurements/amounts purposely vague, I think it's easier for the imagination to follow the story and create it's own images that way.
