I've tried this before with a couple of people I know on Lit and I have to say that it's both difficult and a bit disappointing for all concerned.

The big problem is that the author and you are different people. Although I can read all your posts and get something of an idea about you, I'm never going to know you inside out - not unless I get really lucky, anyway. And if my imagination gets a bit overactive the story will reach the point at which you'll say, 'but I'm not like that' or 'I'd never do that' or 'in your dreams, mate'.

I hope you'll find someone who's up to the challenge but, if it's going to work, you may have to open up to him or her quite a lot.

Yes input from txwife594 would be vital. Recently an author on this site wanted to feature my wife in a story. He requested my input and had numerous questions about her. I happily gave all I could and the results were magnificent.

I fully concur with the other comments so maybe wise to read some shortened versions of stories that can be turned into longer more detailed tales.IF they meet your expectations & gain your direct approval
