How sweet! I'm very touched. Bear, you're a doll, but then we already knew that : )

Thanks to all of you for prayers for my daughter (and for me, too!). She is doing fine, it just takes time to recover. Her surgery was to advance her lower jaw and align it with the upper jaw. To do this, they have to, basically, break the jaw and move it. She is on a no-chew diet for 6 weeks (Thursday will be one week post-op), so she is very grumpy. Not only is she hurting and uncomfortable, she is already sick of no-chew foods. She wants a Big Mac in the worst way! LOL!

Oh...the reason for the jaw advancement...she was born with cleft lip and palate and this is just part of the reconstruction process. 2 years ago they did the upper jaw. At least this time she doesn't have to wear a "halo" like she did then.

Thanks again. I really appreciate the prayers and thoughts.
