From one who managed to piss off a bunch of people here, I can understand where you're coming from. Generally, they're a forgiving bunch, but it'll take time and effort on your part - post more, participate, be positive.

I agree with what Elvis said, the AH is generally a forgiving lot. That being said, for many people, forgiveness is not automatically bestowed just because it is asked for. It has to be earned. So stick around, post more, chat, discuss, flirt... whatever.

Quite honestly, I saw this when you first posted it and I wasn't sure if you were sincere, so I waited. Like others have said, the AH is a forgiving lot, but it will have to be earned. I appreciate you stepping up and making the effort. Yes, we should all be standing together for Free Speech. I'm with Rhino, all the conflict gets to me.

It seems to me, you are still making a fundamental mistake. The Ah cannot forgive you. You cannot offend the Ah. You can, and have, offended and attacked specific people within the Ah. There are people behind the screen names and those people are the ones you need to make peace with.

This is not to belittle your gesture, it's merely to point out the Ah is not some monolithic force that can be offended or appeased. It's a community, made up of people. If you continue to view the Ah as an entity, it will continue to frustrate and confound you. And more than likely to offend and insult you, in equal measure.

The opinion expressed by one member or even a group of members does not reflect the opinion of the Ah. It reflects the opinion of that one poster or the group of posters. If you continue to assign blame to the group for the opinons of specific members, you are going to find yourself in for a very frustrating time.
