Worth the Risk (Closed)

Marcus' smile grew and he quirked his brows, "I imagined you saying that to me in a different situation, I won't lie." It might have been to risque a joke...and it was only half a joke since if they ever did get that far, he could only hope he could please her. "But thank you. I think it's because of you more than the music though."

He did take her advice though and it was easier now to relax and just move with her and the music. Annika wasn't guiding him now as much as they were moving together. She would spin away and he would twirl her back to him; their bodies briefly meeting before they parted again.

Wow. No wonder girls liked to dance so much. With the right partner, with her, it was incredible.

She was quite pleased with their time dancing as she twirled around and moved with the music and with him. Their food arriving seemed to wait as long as they were dancing the old woman watching them and clapping along with a smile.

He almost stumbled when the old woman started clapping along with the music. The college freshman glanced over with a startled expression; he wasn't aware they had an audience!

It made sense though, they were some of the only people here and the only ones dancing at the moment. Marcus managed to shoot the old woman a smile and then gave Annika an apologetic grin, "Sorry. I didn't realize it would be dinner and a show."

The young man fell right back into rhythm and he and his radiant partner moved and danced to the music as it swung and soared through the family restaurant. They must have danced for twenty minutes or more before his legs began to twinge a bit. "I may need to take a breather. Want to sit down?"

Sure lets go eat.

She smiled and led him back over to the table as she smiled to the old woman who was laughing slightly at him getting distracted at her cheering them on in their dancing.

Marcus flushed a bit at her smile but more at the old woman laughing. He knew it wasn't really laughing at him but he was young enough to still feel self conscious. But then Annika took his hand and that self consciousness fled as she led him back to the table.

The smell of their meals hit them before they got close and he was shocked at his hungry he suddenly was. God, it smelled amazing! He remembered his manners enough to hold Annika's chair for her before sliding into his own and rubbing his hands together. "This looks great."

He'd ordered a seafood gnocchi dish and the first bite was heavenly. "God," he almost moaned. "That's so good it's almost criminal." The student began to dive into his food like the teenager he was, ignoring all else, until he glanced up and saw her looking at him.

"Uh, sorry." Marcus cleared his throat and smiled sheepishly. "Mine's excellent, how's yours?" He paused and then licked his lips, "So, what shall we talk about while we eat?"

Mine is wonderful Marcus thank you. What would you like to talk about?

She was enjoying time out with him so much. It was so easy to forget he was her student. She could even forget her divorce and her military career and just be... herself. It was strangely nice.

Hers were wonderful but he wasn't thinking about the food. Not exactly a pure thought but he was still an young guy. And he meant many things about her; her eyes, her lips, her wit, her charm, her power of personality, her-

He better stop or he'd get distracted from the conversation.

Marcus thought a moment and then nodded, "Well, I'm curious about you, obviously. What do you like to do in your spare time? I mean, I know you're busy with your work at school but I'm sure you've got hobbies or interests. Favorite movies or tv shows? I really want to know as much as I can about who you are."

Wow favorite stuff or hobbies and interests. Well I am sure you can guess... just about anything Military if even just for a good laugh not a whole lot of time for hobbies beyond relaxing and watching tv when I can not that it happens often.

She watched his eyes and suspected that his mind was far from what he was asking.

What about you?

"We'll have to try and give you some more hobbies then. Maybe me," Marcus grinned. Then he shrugged, "Well, as for me, I mean, I'm young enough to not have a lot of specific hobbies."

He leaned back as he took a drink. "I was in Scouts forever so I like camping, hiking, canoeing, and SCUBA. I don't get much chance to do that though, only this past summer." Marcus smiled, "I'm a kid my age, so I play video games a little, I like all kinds of music. I like to watch documentaries and history programs too; I love those survival shoes, Les Stroud, that kind of thing."

Then he laughed, "I guess that's actually a lot, huh?"

Quite a bit and yeah a hobby might be nice if I ever really have the time now that I have you.

She smiled listening still amazed at how down time like this with someone was for her at least with him. Normally "down time" was hanging around the base at the range or with old friends swapping war stories that only they had the clearance to hear. This was strange and relaxing.

Marcus couldn't help but slowly smile and give one of her hands a squeeze, "Now that you have me. I like the sound of that. And you definitely do."

The young man pulled his hand back to continue eating, "When it warms up, maybe we could go camping. There's some beautiful country around here; I'd love to get up into those mountains and poke around a little."

And he wasn't even talking about her breasts. Though once he thought about it, he was. God. Even being a teenager he was sometimes embarrassed with himself.

"But I'm always up for new things too. I bet there's a lot in town that I've never seen or done before. Art gallerys or who knows what."

The mountains... thats easy... My house the General helped me get... is in the mountains

She smiled and began having devious ideas about "hunting" him through those mountains that she knew all too well from her time off... so maybe she did have a hobby though it was tied to her training.

"Really?" Marcus leaned forward on the table, "That's fantastic! I'd love to see it." She had a house in the mountains? God, she really did just get better and better the more he knew her.

She was smiling...and there was something in her smile and in her eyes that made him shiver. In a good and a bad way. It was a sultry, sexy look but it was also a little predatory. And he found he liked that.

"Maybe you can take me up there and show me around." He then blinked, "I mean, uh, sometime. Not tonight, obviously." No matter how much he might like that. "Uh, unless you want to. Though I don't mean to imply that..."

Fuck. Shut up! Shut! UP!

Marcus grabbed his drink and took a long, thorough draw off of it, draining almost the entire thing. God, why couldn't he just keep his mouth shut sometimes?

Perhaps one day maybe.

She smiled watching his nerves get the better of him and shook her head.

First you need to learn to calm down and relax.

His cheeks colored and he looked away, feeling ashamed. He was acting like a child. Embarrassing himself and her. "I'm sorry. I'm not trying to make things tense. I just don't want to mess up, that's all."

She was his dream woman; not that he'd known it when he met her. He wanted to impress her and be interesting to her so much! But he didn't seem to be doing too well at the moment.

"I'll try and relax." He smiled a little and shrugged, "It's not always easy around someone you like and admire so much, you know?" But he would make the effort and he would succeed.

If you are done with your meal maybe we could go some place a little more relaxed and private.

She smiled tracing a fingertip along his hairline seeing if that might calm him.

Ohhh, wow.

The way her full lips moved when she said those sweet, inviting words and the light but so sweet touch of her finger along his forehead made him sigh with happiness. His shoulders visibly untensed and he smiled, a faint flush on his cheeks, "I'd like that, yes."

Marcus nodded, arranging what he hadn't eaten for easy boxing. "Did you have a place in mind or...maybe I should wait and see?"

Well we could go to my place though I wonder if you would be any calmer there.

She smiled she was not meaning anything other than she did not like seeing him so nervous and on edge.

Go to her place?

His eyes widened. She didn't mean it like that, he was sure. But it still meant the possibility. And it showed she was comfortable with him. Calm and relaxed? He could do that. He'd do anything that would get him to her place.

"I'd like that a lot," he answered. Marcus met her strong willed gaze and nodded. "I think that I'll be better there. The, uh, lack of an audience, you know?"

She smiled and guided him from the restaurant after paying the bill.

Well then lets go... it will take us a little while to get there. I chose a house way out there for a reason.

That smile made his blood sing and his manhood stir in his slacks. He shook his head slightly; don't think like that! Be more respectful of her already.

"Sounds good. A nice long drive can be fun, and give you time to think too." It didn't take them long to get to her car and soon they were pulling out of the restaurant parking lot and on their way.

Marcus sighed happily as he settled into the seat a bit, "You've got a great car, have I told you that? It's awesome." He then fidgeted a bit, "Thank you for dinner too. It was really nice of you to pick up the check."

He glanced out the window and then back at her, "What made you want a place far out from town? Just wanted to be in a natural setting or is it that you wanted privacy?"

She smiled watching him.

The privacy mainly well that and I love the house.

She watched him for a moment at a red light.

Why are you so worried about things you are thinking or feel you have hinted about in your comments... I fully expect them due to your age Marcus... its perfectly alright and I would prefer you be honest with me... I might like what you are thinking...

Marcus flushed but then laughed, "You see right through me, don't you? I shouldn't be surprised." The teenager thought a moment and then spoke slowly, "I think because...I feel like you're someone I owe a lot of respect to. So I should try not to think or say things that might be disrespectful to you in some way. Does that make sense?" He laughed again, "It might not."

She'd prefer him to be honest. Well, he could do that. "I should say then that for the sake of honesty, you are so sexy tonight that it's been driving me crazy. And I'm hoping that maybe when we get to your place, something will happen between us. I may just be a boy but you're an incredible woman you should have someone to give you the kind of pleasure and satisfaction you deserve. I hope I can be that person. Or learn to be."

He paused and then went on a bit, "I think that you can teach me a lot about myself. And that maybe there are things you'd want to do or try that you haven't been able to or...anyway. I'd want to be the guy you could do anything with or do anything to."

"Too much information now, right?"

No not at all. Its nice to hear such honesty and quite frankly if anything happens it happens... I am beyond caring... With all I have dealt with divorce wise and all that its nice to hear someone talk about wanting time like that with me.

She smiled and reaching a hand over to rest on his thigh as she drove finding the trip to her home seemed a little shorter than normal.

He felt slightly sad at her words that she was 'beyond caring' but it lasted only a moment. Maybe he could help her to care again. Or maybe she meant that she didn't care about the social mores of it all. That after all she'd gone through, she wanted what she wanted and that was that.

Either way, it made her all the more impressive. It also made him feel more determined to be someone she could enjoy however she wished. Which would lead to a lot of enjoyment for him as well, probably.

When she put her hand on his thigh, he blinked and then blushed but was smiling. God, she touched him. And in such an intimate way. "I like that, just so you know," he said. "I'd invite you to touch wherever you wanted but that may be unwise while driving," he added with a wink.

He still meant it.

The drive didn't seem to take much time at all, despite what the clock on the car's readout said. As they began to slow and pull in, Marcus looked out the window at the area around them. "That didn't seem to take too long. Wow...you weren't kidding about being way out here." He placed a hand on top of the one of his thigh and gave hers a squeeze, "This place is beautiful! And nestled right in the mountains..."
