Worth the Risk (Closed)

Marcus laughed and looked up at her, "You have no idea how amazing you are, do you? Annika...you'd probably have to do something that would leave scars or cut off body parts to lose me." He raised an eyebrow, "And even then I'd have to think hard about it."

He tightened his arms about her, pressing her heavenly body more firmly against his own young, strong form. "Don't worry about that; I've never wanted anything or anyone like I want to be with you. And more than that, I want you to feel good about us, and to have a chance to enjoy yourself."

The youth shifted to nuzzle her neck, "You don't have to hold back unless you want to. You won't break me and I won't run away."

She smiled feeling him nuzzle her neck and gasped softly as she moved her arms to hug him close moving his face to kiss him passionately and hungrily as her other hand moved to caress and trace over him.

Her hug was fierce and he felt a surge of both want and satisfaction; he wasn't sure what it was but something he'd said or done had touched her. God, and she was touching him now.

Marcus let out a soft moan into the kiss as she felt him tight and he felt her hand caressing his body. His own hands moved, one kneading and massaging the back of her neck, the other stroking up and down her spine.

Her hands continued to caress him. Food had been forgotten but they had to contain themselves here. She had to keep them sane for now no matter how badly she would want to keep all of this going she simply kissed him and snuggled close her hand softly rubbing his back.

We... will let... things... simply advance... when we.... have... the movie... at my home... for now... perhaps... we should just... eat...

Kissing him hungrily and tender as she spoke.

Heat was building in him; warming and not yet consuming but it would not be long. Her touch, and those fevered kisses were stoking his desire. There was another element as well; something that made his heart sing. He'd known he wanted her, wanted her desperately, but he knew now that she wanted him just as much.

Her words, broken up by panting breaths and searing kisses, did reach him. She was right; he knew it. This was not the place. God, he wished it was!

"I...know you're right," he answered. Marcus kissed her once more, long and with almost bruising force, the liplock breaking with an audible pop. "You're right." He took a few deep breaths, calming his desire and cooling his lust. "For now, we'll...we'll just eat."

Marcus took another long, deep breath and then slowly sat up. He smiled at her and pulled the basket over to them, "So, let's see what we have." His face was still flushed and his manhood was raging in his pants but he pushed his want aside. As she said, for now.

I don't tend to cook so various take out and campus restaurant stuff. Hope you like it.

She was having to calm her own self down as well for now even though she wanted her young lover badly now but caution and level heads had to prevail in this situation.

He grinned, "I know a little cooking; maybe I'll whip something up for you sometime." He didn't know much, just how to make some basics and a few specific family specialties; all of the camping he'd done had forced him to learn basic cooking. "But it sounds great as it is; smells good too."

Within a few minutes, the food was spread out on the blanket and the two tentative lovers began to eat. Marcus spent as much time watching Annika as he did eating or just looking at the splendor of the well tended greenery around them.

Well that sounds great seeing as though I have a big fancy kitchen in the house I got here and nearly only use the coffee pot it should see some use.

She laughed and ate smiling to him from time to time wanting to commit all of this to memory and make sure he was still having fun.

"Really? That's a shame, I'll have to put your kitchen through it's paces." Marcus answered her laugh with his own grin and then shrugged, "Though I don't want you to think I'm going to be bringing out gourmet cuisine or anything."

Although he might have to look up something dramatic to make for her. She deserved it.

"Anything else in your place that hasn't seen much use?" His tone was light and teasing and he winked, "Maybe a pool or a hot tub? A large shower?"

Maybe... she laughed and leaned over to kiss his cheek. Closing her eyes as she took a deep relaxing sigh smiling softly.

"Maybe never sounded so good." Marcus slipped an arm around her waist as she leaned over to kiss his cheek and pulled her closer to him, leaving her leaning against him. "This sounds pretty good too."

Once they were done eating she smiled and busied putting everything away glancing to him with a smile.

So what should we do now? or do you need to get back to the dorm or anything?

Marcus shook his head, "I don't have to be anywhere all break. Part of the point of staying at school for it, you know? So that...if and when you wanted me, I could be there."

He blushed faintly as he said it and then shrugged. The young man stood and offered her his hand to help her up, "After a meal like that, I think we could do with a bit more movement. How about we check out the displays at the art building? Or we could take a stroll along the river instead?"

A walk along the river sounds nice.

Accepting his hand to help her stand up with a smile.

Lets go.

He grinned and gave her hand a squeeze, "Let's." He picked up the basket with his other hand as the two of the walked, in no particular hurry, out of the gardens and through west campus towards the river.

It wasn't a large river, nor a small one, and it flowed pretty much through the whole town and served as the dividing line for the college. It was a pretty walk for the most part, a few parks along the river to capitilize on the scenery, as well as a golf course.

For Marcus though, Annika was the best scenery. His eyes stayed on her as they walked along the path that wound by the river's course, straying to keep from tripping and his bearings, but otherwise his full attention was fixed on his gorgeous professor.

She was enjoying this it was calm and peaceful and the meandering river made its way around part of the campus once they had made their way along she motioned towards the staff parking lot and smiled.

So should we get going?

Marcus took a few moments before answering, just drinking in the sight of her smiling at him with the river and its green banks before her. Then he nodded, "No time like the present. Where are we heading now?"

I reeally don't know... I could take you back to your dorm or... I really don't know what we should do... This maybe a problem we don't want mess this up or any of that. Its either spending time alone or constantly with each other... what really do we do now... what is the proper balance... I have not had to be in a situation like this in a very long time so I have no idea.

She laughed shaking her head at how crazy it all sounded.

Marcus just laughed and then, despite them being in the faculty lot, stepped up and hugged her tightly. "The first thing is not to overthink it, to do what feels right."

He held her for a few moments and then stepped back, releasing her from his embrace. "How about this; you give me a ride back to my dorm or I can walk if you're not comfortable with that, and then in a few hours we meet up for dinner. My treat this time."

It seemed like a good compromise; giving them both space and not forcing the constant presence of either of them but also making time for them to be together again.

"Do you like italian food? Dave told me Scali's is the place to take a girl you like for a good date. What do you say?"

I can give you a ride back to the dorm and Italian food sounds wonderful. What time? Perhaps about 7 pm sound good?

She smiled liking this place though not sure what to do she would think of something.

Marcus smiled and moved to the passenger side of his car. He wanted to make a joke about her giving him a ride but it wasn't coming together right in his head and the last thing he wanted to do was offend her. "7'll be great. And maybe after, we'll hit a bar or a night club?"

Once she'd unlocked the vehicle he slid into the seat, "I mean, if you feel up to it. Though I have to say...I can't wait to see you dressed up for dinner and dancing."

That might be nice... There is a bar on the other side of the base that would be safe enough. See you at 7 then.

She watched him exit the car and smiled till he was out of sight then headed back to her home to figure out what the heck she had gotten herself into. The closest to dressed up was her suits she taught in or her dress uniforms. She had formal clothing but she had not worn any of it in a very long time. she was going to need help with this and took off to find a shop with a sales lady who would be willing to help her get ready for something like this.

Marcus felt her eyes on him as he walked into the dorm, turning around to give her a wave before disappearing into the student housing structure. He felt like cheering and throwing up at the same time. This...this would be a real date with an adult, incredible, experienced, wise, wonderful woman. What if he screwed up?

Hell. Don't think about screwing up. Just get ready.

He showered and, even though he'd done so that morning, shaved again. He inspected his body as he dried himself off, wondering if she'd like what she saw...assuming she ever saw that much of him, of course. He only had one suit, the one he'd worn to his campus visits and interviews for his work-study but he did know he looked pretty good in it.

The suit was a light charcoal with faint light blue pinstripes and under it he wore a darker blue button up shirt. He must have tied and untied and retied his tie ten times before he felt the knot looked acceptable. A pair of simple black dress shoes, a little cologne dabbed on, and he felt ready. He was ready, right? Was there anything he should-

Flowers! He should have flowers for her, right? First real date out and all.

Running out for the flowers took longer than he expected. By the time he got out of the florists, the woman behind the counter smiling knowingly at the smartly dressed young man, he barely had seven minutes.

He ran to the restaurant, drawing more than a few looks given his attire. Marcus managed to make it with less than a minute to spare, his breathing still even and steady. Hell, he hoped he still looked all right. The teen took a few moments to straighten his suit coat and tie, check the flower box, and then took a deep breath.

She should be here any minute, unless she was already close enough to have seen him run up...God, he was such an idiot! Marcus took another breath, trying to calm his nerves.

She had not seen him run up she was just pulling up from the other direction her own mind worried as she was in a black dress and heels that were far from her normal and her hair had been doe up makeup and everything. Something she had not done since nearly her wedding day as she smiled pulling up by him and unlocked the door smiling.

And he'd just gotten his breath back too.

Marcus' eyes widened as he saw Annika in the car in a black dress that was elegant, tasteful, and sinfully wicked all at once. Her face was more lovely than ever and the way her hair was piled and arranged gave her a vixenish look that was fresh and alluring. For a few moments as she unlocked her car door, he just stared as a slow, adoring, helpless smile spread across his face.

He jolted into action then, opening the door and sliding in to shut it behind him. "Annika...wow. You look amazing. Amazing isn't even a good enough word for it. You're beautiful. You always are but...you're even more right now."

The youth undid the lid of the box and offered it to her, a half dozen red roses just beginning to spread inside it. "For you."
