Worth the Risk (Closed)

I have to talk so much with lectures in class and all other manner of business for the department why don't you talk for a little bit Marcus.

She gently squeezed his hand and smiled glancing over at him... thinking she could truly grow used to having this young man in her life.

The reassurance of her taking his hand more fully and giving it a squeeze made him smile and he felt a strange kind of warmth in his chest.

"Sure thing," he answered her. His thumb stroked the back of her hand as they strolled through the greenery. "It's strange to think about it but this'll be my first Christmas away from home." Marcus wasn't sure if this was a good subject or not but it was the first thing that had come to mind. "I'm not really feeling homesick or anything though; I kind of expected to, but I don't. It might change once we get closer to the actual holidays themselves, I guess. Right now, I'm just thinking of how good it is to be here, more or less calling my own shots, and all that. Without the school framework, it's my first real independent time."

Another sheepish, shy smile flitted across his lips, "But you know, I'm most excited about this. About getting this time to be with you, talk to you, without all the stress and worry. About that, anyway. There's always something to stress you, I guess." His grin was boyish and happy, "I've also been thinking about what to get you for Christmas. I've got some ideas I think could work pretty well."

You should spend time with family over the holidays Marcus.

She looked to him as they walked. She could see how intensely interested in their time together he was and smiled. It had been a long time since anyone wanted that much time around her.

You don't need to get me anything Marcus our time is the best thing these days trust me.

Marcus shrugged, "Given travel and all, I had to choose to go there or stay for the break and, well...I chose getting to know you, Annika. I'll visit my family as soon as I can afterward but it wouldn't exactly be...fitting, I guess, for me to say that I wanted to explore this and then just leave on break."

He then smiled, "I know I don't need to get you anything. I want to. I like the idea of getting something that might make you smile."

Of course, he didn't have a strong idea of what that would be...but he'd figure it out.

"What do you usually do over the holidays?"

I have a few friends on the base I tend to visit and spend my time on base with a couple of friends.

She paused as they were deep in the tree garden lost on the trails and well hidden. Turning towards him she smiled watching his eyes and reaching a hand to his cheek.

Her touch on his cheek made his pulse quicken, even as he pulled in a startled breath. God, just that feeling was amazing. His eyes widened and then quivered as they slowly half-lidded at the surprised joy of her touch.

"I was hoping I could see you then...but I understand if it's best not to do that this year." Maybe next year, for he certainly intended to still be with her then.

"We seem pretty far out of sight," he then murmured with a smile. He dipped his head slowly and kissed those plush, full lips that he imagined kissing and doing so many sinful, delicious things to him.

I can spend some time with them and some time here that is not a problem

She pressed into the kiss one hand moving to his cheek the other slipping from his hand and resting on his chest over his heart as she curled close against him.

He wondered if she could feel his heart pounding against his ribcage; it seemed loud enough to be heard for that matter. Feeling that heavenly form pressing against him, her soft curves perfect and plush but with the hard, hot core of her well trained body beneath them drove his young body into overdrive just with this loving embrace.

Marcus cradled her to him. One hand stroked the small of her back, his fingers just barely grazing the top of her pert ass. The other slid through the glory of her hair for a moment before caressing the base of her neck and gently rubbing.

So what all would you like to do while we have all this time together?

She had ideas but she was still not sure that this young man would truly want someone with all the stress and baggage like an ex husband.

"What wouldn't I want to do?" Marcus smiled and he could feel himself blush. "I want to walk with you, hold you, go to a park or a show, stay in and watch a movie, kiss you, caress you, and-"

His blush deepened, "I...well, I am a teenage guy, but...Annika, you have to know that I want you to. I want to be with you in any way you want to have me. There's so much I don't know about life and...I want to learn it with you, from you."

She smiled and thought about it for a moment.

How about after I spend time with my friends on base I meet you here and maybe you get to see where I live out here and maybe watch a movie at my place... pizza and all? See what happens?

She leaned in close and kissed him

but for now lets just wander around and enjoy each others company.

Watching a movie with Annika at her place? See what happens, she said. God, he'd be imagining what could happen! Not that he'd push or try anything but the thought of it...now that made a guy feel alive!

"That sounds great to me, Annika." He smiled and gave her hands a squeeze, letting one drop but holding the other as they resumed walking through the well tended growth and greenery all about them.

Well then we will just have to see how the holiday break goes. I shouldn't be long on the base Christmas day but that could leave us Christmas Eve.

She smiled walking along with him thinking hoping he liked the rest of her plan for today as they neared the picnic she set up.

"I, uh, I think Christmas Eve with you will be pretty amazing." No matter what happened, even if they just lounged and watched movies. The thought that they might get closer, that she might lean against him or let him hold her...

His imagination was supplying other images as well. Annika wearing a santa hat and a green ribbon around one finger, a thin blanket draped enticingly over her body, beckoning to him. Her hands sliding over his chest, parting his shirt and pulling it off him, her commanding voice speaking, telling him he was hers, that she'd have him now...

He really, really shouldn't think about that. Even entertain the idea. But it was hard not to; she was so gorgeous, so sensual, and he was eighteen.

They came out to a small green clearing and he blinked. There was a blanket set out there; along with a large basket and a bag. Marcus faltered for a half-step, Annika pulling him along with her before his legs caught up, "A...Annika, did you set up a picnic for us?" He smiled, blushing, and looked at her with radiant eyes. "A winter picnic! What a great idea! Thank you. I wish I'd thought to bring something myself then..."

I thought that it would be a nice start

She smiled to him and moved to sit down patting the blanket for him to join her.

Marcus sat down with her; feeling a bit awkward. This was such a...pristine tableau and such a classy move on her part. He felt a bit ashamed of the thoughts he'd been having just a few moments earlier.

"I've never gone on a picnic date before," he said with a rueful chuckle, "but it's pretty cool." He reached for the basket, "I can serve what you brought if you'd like...though we can just relax together for a while first too."

I think you relaxing would be a good idea you seem a little nervous

She smiled and nodded to the blanket it wasn't anything special various take outs and some of the nicer foods from the campus restaurant.

"Nervous? Well...yeah, I am, a little." Marcus sighed and then shrugged before laying down on the blanket and stretching his arms. He folded his hands under his head, looking up at her, "I mean...I'm out with the woman of my dreams. I'm loving every second but I'm nervous too."

He look a few long breaths, breathing deeply of the floral scent of the gardens as it mingled with Annika's smell. "I'll try and relax though. It's a little hard when I want so much for things to work and for, well, you to be happy." And to like me, he thought. He didn't voice it though; that was a very immature thought and he knew it.

Stretching out and laying down as well she smiled and reached to turn his face towards hers.

Calm down and get over here now if you are not hungry.

A devious smile curled her lips.

She told him to calm down and get over to her? Some other time, he might have pointed out that she was sending mixed messages. Lying with her and being told to get over there was only going to excite him in the best way.

Her devious grin made him beam in response and Marcus rolled over to come to rest beside her, just barely pressing against his teacher's tempting body, "Is this better?" He kissed her then, a fervent and passionate embrace of lips. He was hungry, yes, but not for food.

Curling into the kiss her hand moved slipping through his hair and pulling him firmly to her deepening the kiss she let her other hand slip around his shoulders. She knew this break and him staying here would move thing faster along and maybe that restless risk is what they needed. Safe with no one on campus but risking what could be for more immediate moments.

His young, strong body responded as she drew him closer and deepened the kiss. God, she was setting him on fire and he loved it. His heart was racing and he felt warmer, hot almost, like he was wearing too much clothing. Her arm was about him and he moved in kind, one of his arms going about her slender waist, the other slipping under her to caress and support her upper back.

His tongue tasted her lips and then pushed past them in a gentle probe and he moaned into her. Without warning, Marcus rolled the other way onto his back, pulling Doctor Jacobs with him so that she was on top of him for the moment.

Laying there on top of him she broke the kiss and smiled softly at him propping herself up a little with one hand on the ground above his shoulder so she could stare down into his eyes.

I do not want us to do anything that will jeopardize what we have started. I know that time like this... over a break like this might make things go faster than perhaps it should but...

She just kissed him again not sure what she was trying to say.

Marcus wasn't really sure what she was saying either. It almost was like she thought they were going too fast but she didn't actually say that or seem certain of her own point. That wasn't like her; the gorgeous and commanding woman he'd fallen for was always in control of herself.

His answering kiss was lingering but lighter, easing off of the hungry passion he'd met her lips with at first. He looked up at her as it broke and moved a hand up to run his fingers through her hair, "I don't want to spoil this. There are so many things I want to do, right now, but I'm never going to insist. I know that all of this is a big risk for you, emotionally and professionally, so...don't worry if you need to go slow. If I need to settle down, tell me. I'm sorry if pulling you on top of me was too much...it feels really good though, I have to say."

She laughed smiling down at him and shook her head no.

This is fine I... I have not really dealt with much like this since my divorce... the last fling was one of my fellow soldiers and nothing this tender and relaxed... we just helped each other so to speak. This is so different and I don't want anything to ruin it... I don't want to do anything to cost me you...
