I was sitting here watching The Shipping News and I can't decide if I like it or not

So I was wondering
What is the worst movie you ever saw?

ANACONDA!

Anything based on a video game.

It's a tie between Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat : Annihilation

you are omitting the very worst-
Leonard Pt. 6
Howard the Duck
Ishtar
What Lies Beneath
Glitter
Pluto Nash

Strip Tease with demi moore...

First movie and so far only movie I ever turned off the VCR and walked away from

It's Pat --It was cute skit on SNL, but a lousy movie.

Edited to add I own a copy of Howard the Duck (Lea Thompson is pretty cute)

Seen it.

NO MOVIE IS WORSE THAN TANK GIRL.

PLAN 9 IS MEANT TO BE BAD. TANK GIRL IS SERIOUS.

I disagree. My dolby surround permanently distorted my higher frequency, hearing with those idiotic bimbos scream and giggle. tank girl had a possibility of being likable. TBW was hideous.

Ishtar.

(The Shipping News was oversold...the novel is at best very downbeat as a love story, because it's a book about self discovery...so Coyle & Wavey were both terribly cast in the movie version.)

oh so many to chose from, but Darkman has to be up there with the best of the worst

I LIKE those movies. I even though Sum Of All Fears was good,(despite tthe cronological order was all fucked up.)

Of all the movies I've seen, which really isn't a whole lot, I'd have to say that the absolute worst one was Star Wars Episode 1.

P.S. I liked Howard the Duck.

I actually thought The Phantom Menace was an adequate beginning. Though, Jar Jar*Shudders*

Sum of all fears just really annoyed me since i had read the books.

the movie was based on a picture on the back over, by someone who might have seen it once.

Might also have something to do with the fact that i really like Alec as Ryan.

That being said... I am really not looking forward to Without Remorse. :D

Can I nominate Harry Potter as well?

well, the only thing I liked about it was Leah Thompson, meow.

Lets not forget Oceans Eleven, Cobra, Point Break, House Party,
Mouse Hunt, Fathers Day, Pink Flamingos, and anything with Whoopi Goldberg

I think Baldwin was a great Ryan, too. That impression he does of Connery is AWESOME!!!!!! They're in the early stages of Rainbow Six, right now.
