Legs a bit thick, but definately gorgeous up top. So - ok Stella Mc C dressed her. Has tennis become a haute couture venue? ;) She is top 20 - will she win? She is NOT ENGLISH so .... lol

Should not all players on the football field dress like C. Ronaldo? Perhaps Stella Mc C can dress them, but not in frills? I loved her ripped cowboy punk style. :D

PS: as for football? I ALWAYS thought these guys wore jock straps. I was much surprised, perhaps elated - to find they do not! :D

oooh my spanky pants! That sight's woken me up this morning!

Charley, many a happy moment was spent as a teen buying Score! and other football magazines and playing spot the penis. Some of them were even hard  Ahhh, happy days. (please note the penises were still in the shorts *LOL*)

Wow... those Spanish are poor losers. Nothing but moans on the news sites.

Lauren, presumably you saved your transfers to make up for losing your Spanish contingent? I'm pinning my hopes on Shevchenko defeating Italy single handed (or footed) :D

My Spanish contingent was reduced to two, so my transfers will go there and I still have one to spare. :D

Speaking of fashion, here is an article from yesterday's newspaper that focuses on what the Dutch coach was wearing during the match against Portugal. I thought it was hilarious. I can't translate "trolha" and "trolhada" in this context, but I'm guessing you can understand it anyway:

À trolha

Van Basten, the Dutch coach, at the end of the match, was upset. And rightly so, because he lost. Despite the congratulations to Portugal, what was unnecessary was to come say that the Portuguese team had been unsportsmanlike. Those who see the number of cards distributed must think it was some sort of field battle, or worse, that they have witnessed bar fights with fewer expulsions. But no, the correct term to define what happened in the game isn't violence, it's trolhada. The trolha is the virile clash, feet that almost hit the ball, a few almost head butts, all without intention to kill. Of course that sometimes it doesn't work out well, as in the case of those spikes on Cristiano's thigh. Poor kid, there on the bench crying with a look of "mister, that boy is mean", but it was only a haematoma, it looks bad in the photos but you can still play.

Van Basten doesn't have much reason to complain, it wasn't a scandal to lose, as it wouldn't have been if the result were the opposite. What the Dutch coach wasn't expecting was that. No coach, or even a fan, goes to a game of real football wearing a little white shirt and a little sweater tied to the little waist. That's an outfit you wear when you go to a little bar sip on fruity cocktails while James Blunt's "You're Beautiful" plays in the background. Portugal or Netherlands weren't unsportsmanlike; their players were decided to win. Winning isn't against the spirit of sports, quite the contrary. If you want to enter a sport just for the pleasure of participating, try hydrogymnastics.

Mwahaha. You'd think he could find a shirt that fits better, I kept thinking he was going to pop out of that one like The Incredible Hulk.

Oh, the real pièce de résistance was the little blue sweater tied around his waist. I wish I could find a photo with the whole ensemble. What a dork. :D

No scoring today. I'm already going through withdrawal.

And to make things worse, I just came back from the dentist and I can't eat or drink anything for a while. What the fuck am I supposed to do now?
